9 months of fooling around with Flash and sprites has led to this.
It would have been done sooner, but I've been busy and lazy.
Behold, a 16 reenactment of the Maverick Hunter X fight with Vile squaring off against X and Zero.
Enjoy. Or don't. I don't care.
Excelsior.
Modified Vile Sprites are based on the works of myself and MDDBMPF.

I like how in one part where x and zero shoot a charged shot at the same time, it combined into the x2 charged shot

Heh. I didn't want to be too much like MHX's combined shot, so I improvised with the X2 shot. If I had been smarter, I would have used the pink parts of the spiral shots for Zero's buster, but hindsight is 20/20.

I like how even Vile has a sort of scriptedness to his movements. It makes it look like a rom hack where two boss AIs were pitted against each other. :3

They didn't really dodge in the original MHX game either, which is what I was emulating with this animation. If I was to reanimate this, I'd probably have them do so for a QOL update.

I thought about that in the late stages of animating it. Perhaps if I did a sort of "remaster" if you will, I'd include that and a few other things to really give it life.

Here's an idea. X vs Zero, SNES style. Golden Armor X vs Black Zero. To stay true to the SNES. As the strongest armor X can have is the Golden armor in the SNES trilogy

Why is it always 1 vs 1 in Megaman games? There should've been more bosses like this in the series. In real life an organized force fights as a team. Not individually.

Only thing wrong with the original and this fight. Getting hit with the Z-Buster should've VAPORIZED Vile. That shit had the ability to blow off one of his Ride Armor's arms. If he's stronger without the R-Armor, what's the point of having it?

Now ask yourselves why vile hates X so much but didnt join sigma. Think about it. A character who isnt with dr light or wily. Someone in the old games with a deep hatred towards megaman but doesnt like wily either.
