I haven't had Sprite in years. But one memory I have is when me and my sister were kids, she held an "empty" can of it, after drinking it, over my head saying it was empty (the can, not my head) and I ended up having Sprite right down my face and in my hair. Now as adults we still bring it up sometimes in conversation

Yep, Coke and Pepsi are much the same ("colas"), and it's a matter of preference which one likes better. There's also Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb, which are also colas with slightly different flavors. And then there's rootbeer [non-alcoholic, not actual 'beer'; though some might make an alcoholic version, generally it's just a regular sugar soda with a very strong anise flavor, I think?]. Coke and Pepsi are competitors, and which is "better" is hotly debated. Fanta is definitely an "orange" soda and a bit sweeter. While Sprite is a lemon-lime soda, and slightly more sour (but delicious). IIRC, "Mountain Dew" is something like a citrus blend of like lemon lime and tangerine, or something? I tend to like Mountain Dew, but Sprite's not bad... I like them both. Haven't had much fanta. But to me it's just kind of artificial, and I'd rather just have actual real fresh-squeezed orange juice.

I really enjoy watching you men, family and friends experimenting with all kinds of things for the first time. Especially Babu. Him being the senior villager has probably seen more than most but yet, he gets the opportunity to see and learn more than the mind can imagine. Bless these people that aren't afraid to try something new.

Badshah, that is called "sugar high". That means you are not used to the high sugar content and it has you a little wired up.

Do they know that in many countries we pay extra 0,20€ (here in Finland) at the checkout for every plastic drink bottle and can 0,15€. You can later go to any shop and return those in Reverse vending machine to get your money back. So please let them know about recycling.

Coke in a chilled glass bottle made from cane sugar is the best. Unfortunately we only get that corn syrup garbage in the United States unless you get the imported Coke from Mexico at Costco. Pepsi with cane sugar easier to find but only in cans usually. Wonder if anyone remembers Jolt soda.

If I'm correct, Coca-Cola, Fanta and Pepsi are consumed around the world! In many countries Orange Fanta is the choice of beverage. Coca-Cola is the #1 beverage in the food service industry! Unfortunately for me and my health issues, water is the only thing I can drink. Enjoy

for real though, fanta was created in Nazi Germany as a coca cola alternative in 1940, probably due to the American trade embargo of Nazi Germany.
