I think the real thing she was mad about was him lying to her. That he kept making bad excuses to ignore her when he should have known she'd understand if he just was honest.
@@guyofminimalimportance7 Yeah, would be better to tell her he's a hero when just met her. (sarcasm) There's a thing called trust, you're not gonna tell someone your biggest secret after dating for 6 months or so.
@@guyofminimalimportance7 yeah, but she didn't get that if his real identity gets out she's gonna be a target from all the villains around him. Mark can survive them, but i have difficulty believing that Amber can. So she needed to shut up and continue to pour soup while he was doing his best to have a happy life.
The part that bugs me is that she assumed it was because he didn't trust her, totally ignoring that he had the entire government breathing down his neck. Cecil totally would have yelled at him about it if there weren't WAY more important things going on in that episode.
@@guyofminimalimportance7 The result would have been the same, regardless of whether he told her now or in a few years. Amber's inability to understand that her knowing his secret endangers her is asinine. Not to mention, it really is a shitty person who puts the needs of themselves over the needs of literally every life mark has saved by missing time with her. She comes across as self-absorbed, overly needy, and shallow. All of that on top of her cool "I don't need nothing from anyone" attitude

And stop acting as if thragg's healing was cheating, it's literally his hax just like bb had weapons. End of the day bb was fighting for the thrills and thragg was fighting for all he believed in. Attention every single person that is replying to this comment, this is Mark's first time, you can't expect one person to be an absolute pro. Like Omni-Man said, it's going to be a long journey. He'll get better when time goes on!

Amber did ask him if he wanted to be with her an he said lets take our time i swear do y'all not know how high school relationships are like she clearly said it at the store
@@prettycureforever7102 It's one thing to be upset that your boyfriend is late to important events. It's another to be mad at him for having valid reasons as to why he's late whilst knowing also why he's late. Amber really has no excuse.
It kinda just shows he has absolutely no experience with with being a hero or in the real world for that matter. His father even said his whole life been soft. He always had what he needed and seemingly two perfect parents. He never had to struggle. It's a good character development. It reminds me of Gon in Hunterxhunter. Eventually he'll get some dubs. The fact he fought against the strongest and survived is already a step ahead.

I love how Battle-Beast and Omni-Man have their feet positioned down since they're supposed to be hovering, but Amber is literally just standing in mid-air
I hate how they changed amber from the comic, it personally feel like a very crass kind of pandering as it added absolutely nothing to the story, hell they even hugely simplified Amber and Mark relationship from first love to sleeping buddies. Also hate what they implied with the heavy gansta rap with the Mueller ''Twins'', its basically a parody of their actual character, which is an interesting take on the whole authority issues that comes from cloning yourself and their bants was one of the best thing in the comic. Same thing with Nolan, Animated version feel like a Flanderized version of his comic self, with the viltrumite aspect of it all reduced to crass racial supremacy, withholding the fact their aggressiveness is inherent to their power and that their cultures is more complex than just ''lol fist go brrrrr''. Robot entire character and story arc resolved insanely quickly and no one really being bothered by what just transpired. Just a few more lines of text and context that would really add to the situation. Overall the animated version feel like an insanely watered down version of the comic, and the rethoric that it is hard to translate into a visual format doesn't apply as they actively changed purely visual aspects of the story, like they voluntarily changed details of it for motives that goes beyond any intention to create an animation loyal the original comic.
@@snapeinvader naw William is right, and Amber would be if she wasn't portrayed as being a reasonable character. What she did to Mark was still fucked up though and the whole argument made no sense if she already knew.
Well she gets mad at him for not trusting her really. I bring this up because she went to a party looking for sex NOT EVEN 24 HOURS BEFORE THIS! No offense to women, but Amber is kind of a bitch.
@@lukeskywalker987 The whole "she gets mad at him for not trusting her" is just such bullshit because it is literally the most important secret in Mark's life and this is a fucking highschool romance + they dated for 6 months until he told her. @@yusufbekcoolman2671 Fun fact: It was indeed a thing... At least, the idea. It originated from a DBZ Broly fanart called "Broly Culo" (Broly-Ass), that became pretty famous in the Spanish community. @@joemency2242 No, Battle Beast is by far the strongest character introduced in season 1 (yes, even stronger than Omni-Man). He could have killed everyone there easily. He was just genuinely disappointed by how weak everyone was (and kinda had to be removed from the fight for plot reasons, as otherwise he'd end up killing all the main characters).
@@joemency2242 Yeah we don't often see such an important character being introduced as a common thug but that's pretty much what happened here. And yes, he's insanely powerful, and is going to be more present in future seasons.

Amber is genuinely one of the most easily hate-able characters. idk what the writers intentions were with her character but if it was for people to despise her existence, they did their job.
To be fair BattleBeast is one of the strongest foes in the series, he is actually stronger than Omni-Man. Invincible just had the worst luck when he randomly showed up. That is like finding the last boss on the first dungeon of an RPG on a random encounter
I mean...Atom Eve has her own will and destiny. Yeah, she went to his house after breaking up because she probably needed confort in someone she could talk to and who knew her identity, but that doesn't mean he could just 'replace' Amber with her if Amber broke up with him just like that
@@dorohime7001 I think the point was that Mark was going through this massive thing, knew he wouldn't have any time for a relationship and still strung her along and expected her to be fine with it. Mark getting clapped by the cat was really insane in the show, that's usually the point where the mc gets really op but he just got clapped harder than ever
It gets funnier when you learn that cat is so powerful that his first appearance would be like if Two-Face got Darkseid to show up on payroll to fight for him.
I actually kinda love when Allen was talking to Mark about his name and he says "a little optimistic don't you think" I love how his name just gets puts to the test in literally every episode and no matter how badly he gets his ass ABSOLUTELY HANDED to him he ends up proving that he really is *quick cut to bloody title card* INVINCIBLE
