That one infamous video with the doll head rotating to look at the little girl while she screams and throws the doll away used to scare me alot when I was a child
@shoebill4902 no there was this video from a decade ago that showed a little girl holding a doll presumably a birthday present while looking at the video camera but while she does that the doll rotates her head looking at the girl the girl in question notices it and gets frighten by it and drops the doll and the video ends That video was popular in the scary videos community especially in latin america side of youtube back in the day
@@TayoEXEthe best part is how Joel is 100% percent right the video is a series of shorts made to promote a band the creator of the suits is friends with.
Joel was not made for scary videos, anytime he watches one I can never feel scared because Joel immediately says something like "feteesh veedeo" or just laughs at it.
@@BlastKetchup Apparently a lot of people. The intended premise is supposed to be tragic and grim (he's supposed to be forced to eat his own wife, cooked into soup), but there's no framing or buildup, so if you look at the video straight it's more just weird. Doesn't work that well as horror for me.
Every month we get 1 step closer to Joey just looking at mid 2010s creepypasta like Jeff the killer, Slender man, slendrina "real footage (no fake)" videos
30:43 "nobody has videos of the dog man.... where's he goin? i don't like that he is around here..." cant get this phrase out of my mind, it has me in stitches. the intonation of "around here"...
lol when seeing the title I was thinking "Werewolves? Who even made a video trying to show werewolves?" and then it matches up with how little there is with chat just sending in a bunch of insane unrelated bs while Joel yells that these aren't werewolves.
I think the Brasil werewolf video was uploaded by 1313 Mockingbird Lane which is a cool toy/collectible store here in Lawrence KS that focuses on cult classics and horror film memorabilia
The characters/mascots were made by Raymond Persi (an animator, writer and voice actor who has also worked with Pixar) for an old sketch show he had, RayRay, which were silly skits the mascots would perform on stage. Raymond was also friends with the members of Stolen Babies, so they decided to do some artsy stuff with the mascots I guess.
"Blank Room Soup" is from 2005, where it was called "freaky soup guy" with the video description "We don't know what this is." The mascots are called RayRay - they're a self-caricature by Raymond S. Persi, who did some visual work for Felix the Cat, The Simpsons, Wreck-It Ralph, and Frozen. He is also the voice of the one sloth in Zootopia. Around the year 2000, Persi joined up with Mutaytor, some kind of retro vaudeville-style performance troupe, and RayRay was created as a wearable mascot suit and became a recurring character in their performances. After a gig at a shitty venue whose dressing room was an unlocked RV, Mutaytor found that a lot of their stuff was stolen, including two RayRay suits. Persi claims he was later sent an email with that creepy-ass video and "shared it with his group". We can be reasonably certain that the account which posted the video in 2005 is Persi's, and he admits that the people in the RayRay suits are moving the way that Mutaytor's performers would, but he insists that neither he nor anyone he knows made the video. It reminds me a lot of the Max Headroom thing - some unknown savant pulling off an outrageous and very creepy stunt with no explanation.
The thing about them killing dracula while he was in his coffin is, the book made a great emphasis that if he woke up, they'd be screwed. That there wouldn't be a hope of victory.
Its so sad how no one in chat was there to tell joey that werewolves just actually exist in brazilian folklore, only that they only transform on tuesdays and fridays and to break the curse you need to hit their head really hard
1:16:47 Its like Joel forgets that the USA is literally 50+ TIMES larger than Sweden or that fact that there are towns that do their OWN news, PER TOWN. lol the amount of people that dont realize the actual SIZE of the USA is crazy.
@@0neDoomedSpaceMarine pretty much everyone forgets the 50 countries stapled together thing about most federations (including most Americans), it makes it interesting to talk to people about laws when they don't even know how their government is organized.
@@skinwalker69420 A lot of Americans don't really understand constitutional law very well either, which is pretty tragic considering the US puts pretty serious legal weight on their constitution in ways most other countries don't. Some countries have constitutions which detail things like a right to freedom of speech, even a right to bear arms, but which are then ignored completely by the state.
The soup vid reminded me of those "childhood trauma/dark side of youtube/creepy art projects" playlists. Would be pretty interesting to see joel give his 2 cents to those videos,
Joey just wanted to pop in and say that if dracula fought those normal people in the middle of the night the would likely massacre them. the only chance they had was to catch him in the day and stab him a bunch
So I actually went and checked, PepsiCo who owns Mug Rootbeer, actually had one of their biggest drops in stock price around the time of the start of the "Mug" meme, so one could argue the meme actually cost PepsiCo a lot of money. HOWEVER, since that moment they've mostly been trending upward, faster than they had been before hand so who can say really?
with the 'spotted weird thing on camera' stuff, I feel like this is the closest we'll ever get to knowing what it would look like if early humans were able to use cameras where they record something that we know now can be explained but at the time, they thought it was some supernatural event occurring in front of their eyes.
I haven't watched live TV in years. When im at my grandma's i hear her watching it. But haven't watched with her. Im 26 probably havent watched TV since i was 17 or 18. Other than streaming services. I block ads at the network level so no ads on anything period.
