It gives me Curious George vibes. Like, in my head cannon the goose doesn't necessarily know what it's doing is wrong. It's just an animal trying to have fun not realizing it's doing so much harm. I mean, the way vinny and everyone else plays the game is vindictive, but if you look at the goose model it just seems kind of intrigued by everything around it.

It's actually kind of adorable how gentle the groundskeeper is with the goose. He doesn't throttle him or chase him away from the garden, he just kinda lets the goose hang out and cause his mayhem. It feels like he's having fun with the goose.

jeremias The goose is a beacon of evil and chaos, and all of the townsfolk are his willing subservients who allow him to release his power through menial acts of mayhem. They know that if they do not allow his power to be expelled from his body in small quantities, his power will become too immense for his small, goosely form to contain. Untitled Goose Game will then become a survival horror.

1. They avoided the use of the word "duck" to describe bending forward. So close to perfection but they let it fly away! 2. I love the implications of the goose being locked out of the village before the game even began. 3. Since some birds can projectile shit, it would be fun to do so from behind an object, especially in front of or on the tea man since he's already easily startled.

The (Part 1) at the end makes me smile. I live this. It's so simple and stupid but then very well made and polished after that fact. It is an asshole goose game, and they put all their attention and detail into that. Plus just the way the gooses head follows item and people cracks me up.

As a Northeastern Ohioan, back in High School during early spring and mid-fall we would have Canadian geese migrate through our neighborhood for weeks, and sometimes they would rest on the roof of our school and just walk around honking at the students or nothing for hours. The honking was so loud, excessive, and pointless that it always made me laugh. Like, WTF are you doing guys? Just thought I'd put that out there. Game's good.

14:13 "Dinosaurs went extinct for this" Naw son, we're relatives. Odontoanserae is the ancestor of Geese (Anseriformes) and myself (Gastornithids), and they existed around the same time dinosaurs did. Even the class Aves is referred to as "Avian dinosaurs". So they didn't die, WE'RE IT.

Interesting. I always assumed Chocobos were related to Terror Birds given the vast amount of similarities. The info checks out though. Also worth noting that nowadays we know that the vast majority of carnivorous dinosaurs (including the Tyrannosaurs) were feathered rather or had pennaceous feathers. These preceding the Avialae and Avians.

Secular Ascetic Dinornis “Terror Bird” were the Moa. They look more like giant ostriches or Rheas. One look at Gastornis’s beak and you’ll see the resemblance.
