I'm literally in tears as I'm writing this... Pantera is the band that has made me who I am today. Their music helped me through the toughest moments in my life. I am deeply saddened by Vinnie's passing. My heart goes out to all his fans and family. Thanks for the memories Vinnie. Tell Dime hi for me.

Was lucky enough to see Pantera 3 times in the mid to late 90s. Only band flying the heavy metal flag during that time, always respected them for not selling out. RIP Vinnie, but we still got all that music you, Dime, Phil, and Rex made. Thanks.

What I got out of this is- if your feuding with someone you love, holding some grudge and or argument- family/ friend ect. Just come to a common ground and make up, now phil anselmo lives with his closest friend hating him till the end- they never made up, I honestly thought in my lifetime,we would see an album with rex vinnie phil and zack- that's gone with vinnie, you never know when someone goes and you dont get the chance to make up, sure made me end my family grudge.My 2 cents on this. Miss you already vin.

I was sad and shock hearing the news. As a drummer I know the mark Vinnie left on the music world. I think that without Pantera we would not be as advanced with Heavy Metal music as we are now. My prayers are with his family, he will be missed. 😔🥁🥁🥁😔

Pantera was the very first band i saw in concert, and again a couple years later. Im very saddened for his family, friends, and us fans. He was admired and loved😚

Can't believe I woke up to this man. All I can say is FUCKkkkkk man I know Vinnie And Dime are togather again. Been a Dime and Vinnie fan damn near my whole life. His power drumming and Dimes power guitar are the whole reason I picked up instruments drums and guitars. You all shaped my life I want to thank you for all the bad ass music you've giving us to jam to in your honor. THANK YOU Abbot Brothers!!! You will be sadly missed! Hollow will be jamming my speakers along with cemetery gates for the next few months.

Much respect Vinnie and a big HELLYEAH to you! 1st time I seen Pantera was in Philadelphia at the Troc Suicidal Tendencies headlined the show Exodus was the 2nd act and this band called Pantera had just their debut album with the instant hit Cowboys From Hell. Suicidal was my band right below SLAYER but When Pantera took the stage the crowd that was way too big for the venue exploded into a whirlwind pit of pain by the time that 4!min song was over I was in love with the metal they played and the ass that Vinnie with his drums kicked! Or Ozzfest with SLAYER and Pantera on the same tour! Much respect Vinnie and thanks for teaching my wife and I how to order shots of jack while playing the slots at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas ! Rock on and much respect!
