Funny Dave used to rip on Stryper, but now he and Michael Sweet (stryper frontman) are such close friends even to the point that they text each other and visit each other supper. Dave also even wrote the forward for Michael Sweet's autobiography. There's even talk of collaborating on an album together in the future. Any doubts about any of this, google it.
