hes dead now ... tell the reason to help him now lol if i die with faith and hes right ... i got nothing to lose ... but if im right ... he got a lot to lose
You know what’s apparently NOT relevant in 2024!? CORRECT SPELLING! Christ on a fucking rubber crutch, CORRECT SPELLING!!! The word is prescient. I don’t know HOW whatever device you’re using or whatever didn’t correct it…. But back to what you said……yes, the truth is tineless …..
No, let it out to fester in the minds that oppress us. Let his ideas and rudimentary nature dissolve the current status quo. This man was a certifiable genius and should be given every accolades present for his work to help our world and society.
Why do you trump supporters and Christian’s act like George would want anything to do with you? He preaches directly against your guys own beliefs and would hate all of you in real life.
Don’t worry, this video has been downloaded onto my laptop, and saved in multiple locations… people need to listen to George, he just seemed to have everything worked out, glad he seemed like he had most of his answers before he passed ☺️
Will ever miss Mr George Carlin. He was great. And for a matter of fact, he told exactly the same what Mr Noam Chomsky said, but George told it in a more rude way 🙂 The Americans are in their right to be proud of both Carlin and Chomsky.
He had a show called "Life Is Worth Losing" However, this guy was "Worth Keeping" if only to ease everyone's pain living in a such a stupid world. He was THE wordsmith, and connected more dots, and he is terribly missed; his humor made this world much more tolerable.
What's even better is that some guy took audio from shows like this and added them to random clips from Thomas the Tank Engine that Carlin was narrating. It's like if TtTE was for adults and it's hilarious.
He warned us while we laughed. They say those who laugh last laugh best, no !, George Dennis Patrick Carlin may be gone, but he still makes us laugh while the truth bites us in the ass. Legendary!
I started to watch George Carlin when I was 18 and now am 18 and when I want to just relax with laughs I watch him, again, and again and I never get tire, it's just like my dose of Carlin to make it or start my day on the right track, or before I go to bed. He was a genius and I miss him so much. He's the best ...still ,no competition...Rest in peace George....

Sometime before Carlin died he said "don't cry for me" and I swear everytime I watch him I laugh and then get a little choked up at the sametime. I'm sorry Carlin I didn't listen I seriously miss you man.
Some of my friends think its silly that Carlin plays such a prevalent role in my upbringing, in defining who I turned out to become as a man. I understand them, as in general I never believe in following celebrity influences, but he was something special. He said what we all thought and believed as free souls, unbound by societal pressures. He was an important American institution, one we lack in today. Critical thinking without political bias.
One of the greatest 1 hour comedy shows of our lifetime. The great thing about this show, is it aged well. Now I need to find a second full show that has plastic, ugly kids, and the seven words and I will be set.
Ever notice the crowds reactions? He’s got them. Are we here for a comedy show or did we just stumble into some real shii? He’s hitting em with jokingly mannerisms, while dropping valid points. They’re torn between laughing and staying silent for more. He was amazing
Having seen George live many times and I'm 59. George Carlin was a philosopher who told jokes. Not just a comedian, but a philosopher. Miss ya George, like all of us, you were so right and wrong about so much. We are human for better or for worse,
This entire show has aged phenomenally! George Carlin did this show in 1996....It is now 2023 and the relevance is terrifying! 48:04 is my favorite though.
It's predictable. This is rule under CONservatives: all major media owned by who? CONservatives, reichwing greedy uber rich don't want progressive society! And since Dump at the helm, we have managed to even further regress. Yipee🤬
One of the things I love about Carlin is his fearlessness with calling out the hypocrisy and BS on both sides. He unmercifully attacked everything and everyone and unapologetically told the truth. He saw right through the charade of society and never picked sides. Nothing was off limits for him. We need people like him now more than ever in today’s world. People who aren’t afraid to offend, think for themselves, see through the facade, rely on logic and reason, etc. People like Carlin, Chappelle, and Burr are the antidote to the madness that’s happening in our culture right now.
While you are correct that he called out BS on both sides, it was hardly on an even basis, more like a 90/10 or at best 80/20 spread, with the vast majority of Carlin's literary venom & mockery aimed directly at Conservatives. This is not only clearly evident in his standups, however also in his interviews which were often with ultra left wing hosts such as Keith Olbermann where he very clearly stated his views & where he stood on issues. Now that the great genius is unfortunately no longer with us, you will often see Conservatives claiming Carlin, which gives me a huge chuckle every time, as he literally spoke of "annihilating the Right"(Keith Olbermann interview). Idealogically, he was as progressive as one can get, disagreeing often vehemently with the Right on virtually every single issue from immigration to the wars in the middle east to abortion. Matter of fact, notwithstanding the fact that he was almost an absolutist when it came to free speech, you will be very hard pressed to find any other issue where he even tilted a bit rightward. Consequently, his mockery on stage was almost exclusively targeted towards the Right side of the political spectrum.
Not just my all-time favourite comedian, but one of the greatest philosophers this world was ever blessed with. The world just isn't the same without this wonderful and amazing man.
@@Kunaiconcadenabased on the grammatical structure of your comment without getting the reference, one would assume you were mistaking or just can’t count.
This is my very first time watching this show and I must say that is one of THE BEST stand ups I've ever watched. Lots of Truth and Wisdom in here from Sir George Carlin, what an absolute comedic genius!! This was and still is a Gem. Thank You for sharing this, much appreciated ❤
Hey, to you OP and anyone else viewing, Carlin’s last stand up was right in 2008 (the last time he was on stage is well worth a watch especially if you thought this caught you off guard) and his comedy stand ups stretch for YEARS of quality content far before that. Some may say he’s extreme, Cynical, and controversial but I assure you my fellow reader, he only ever talked about the world that he lived in and what that world made him and he never pretended to be anything more or less. If you’re hungry for what comedy use to be like I also recommend checking out Robin Williams stand up and if you’re feeling adventurous.... check out a stand up called “Delirious” if you really want a history lesson.
I search for Carlin when I need a good laugh… I remember listening to him the first time in the 80’s, on albums my father gave me… He only got funnier from there… And, I saw him live in Vegas in the late 90’s… My favorite is probably still his seven dirty words - not sure there is any other comedian who is named in, or caused, a Supreme Court case… Although, the Babylon Bee recently filed an Amicus Brief, in support of free speech, which is pretty damn funny!
His head would explode. I had this CD when it came out, and I got so many of my friends into Carlin. But near the end he was just more and more angry, it was less and less about comedy. 2024 would send him over the edge.
Notice he doesn’t do hack crowd work. This was like a stage play, not just a comedy routine. He was the best. And the comedians today aren’t even comedians like he was. They are all just opportunists that offer little actual insight or meaningful social commentary, and some are straight up grifters that aren’t even funny at all and resort to gimmicks and cheap schticks.
I always strongly disagreed with a lot of George's political beliefs, but appreciated his wit and comedic talents. He's always been tied with Robin Williams as my favorite comedian. We used to be able to disagree in this Country, but still respect and even admire one another.
Smart man,, grate thinker, very logical.. harsh truth.... quick delivery,,,he helped people open there minds.to a different way of seeing the world.. 🤔. Thank you George for being you.
He would be gone only 12 years later at the age of 71. What a loss. I wish he could have had at least 10 more years to make fun of the Plutocracy, but his years of hard living caught up with him. :(
Last time I saw Carlin in person, he asked God to strike him dead… So, either there is no God, or God just wanted to wait for Carlin to continue perfecting his comedy!
