I love bendables, they're such an evergreen toy. You can still find a great selection today from companies like NJ Croce. I recently purchased a set based on classic Galactica with Starbuck and a Cylon. The construction of the figures is the same as it's ever been.

Mego need to do new Planet of the Apes figures. This time with Taylor and Nova.

Yeah, I've spoken to them about it and apparently, the whole "Disney buying Fox" hasn't been super great for progress. They know fans want this.

Gumby is one of the only characters that makes sense to me to be a bendable figure, with the show being clay animation. I can't really think of too many other characters that actually work very well as bendable figures like gumby. Most bendable figures really don't make sense and are made that way for cheapness.

I never liked these, had a few and the molded default pose was always weird like the feet pointing outward. Only place I thought it worked well was Gumby.

Maybe I was just never lucky enough to come across it, but I don't think I ever came across a Plastic Man or Mr. Fantastic bendy toy. And if its because they never existed, what a major oversight.

I had some of the Arco The other world bend n flex from pic n save good memories, loved glowing weapons.

I had a few of these guys,and we always found them in Supermarkets (?) .I asked my Dad to get me a new Major Matt Mason,& he can back with the BnF Astronaut?...sad.

@@BrickMantooth Naw ,plus was broke ,so most of me & bro,s toys were 2nd hand.We had Thrift stores,flea markets ,yard sales,Church rummage events & my dad hit em all.He was a "salvager/collector,& brought home toys each weekend.I always had a list i,d yell out before he left.Horror/Sci-Fi !!.Yes ,i am the son of a Junkman named Sanford.Truth.

plus .i,ve been trippin all nite at work on this "Toys in the Supermarket" 70,s thing...it WAS a thing.Safeway ALWAYS had vehicle sets & Bendies.Still got Gumby & Pokey from there.30 years ago ,i found bare-boned Spawn figure sets at Costco ? Blue/white &red & white cardboard packaging.shoddy ,but decent line-up sets of 5-6 figs.

@@BrickMantooth thats funny :D , naw ,he was pretty cool.He had real good luck findin stuff:cars for cheap ,tools ,goods & toys for us boys.Outerspace men were my grails.We could find them 2nd hand till the mid 70,s
