I love how you always do what my dad would call “a proper job”! You do it right every time, no corners cut! It’s a rarity today and so satisfying to watch!
Jay you proved to me again that you are the master. Such talent and attention to detail stands out. I love how you used the old ways to execute a repair instead of taking the easy way out. You really deserve a larger following than what you've got. The piece looks fantastic.
Wow! Just wow! This piece was so broken, but you managed to make it look brand new again! I always enjoy watching you taking care of the back, the bottom and the inside of every piece! Much love from Greece!
Once again I am so pleased that you and this damaged credenza crossed paths. Love your attention to detail, and the fact you only waxed it 👍 plus your quiet way of going about your work. Definitely a piece worth keeping, you have a good eye and a kind heart, you paid the owner something 👏👏👏
I am mind blown! To see how you took that broken piece of furniture and turned her into the magnificent beauty that you did is awe inspiring! Your attention to detail is fabulous! So happy that you used wax and let the wood shine through!
Sad lil broken down girl, and now look at how pretty she is❣️ I me WOWZERS, you work miracles Sir, the before pictures are just so sad❣️ Normal people wouldn't know where to start, but you jut went at her and , I mean, WOWZERS, She's the belle of the ball now, just beautiful, stunning in fact. I wish you lived here so I could get one of your projects
I so agree with Teresa capturing my thoughts exactly. I love the grain in wood pieces and thank you sooo much for NOT painting it, as many do these days.
It is not insane you are at almost 40K. You do awesome work and that number is going keep going up. And I love how you take care of the whole piece, inside and outside. It is completely refreshed.
I love his attention to detail that he does. He makes his videos so inviting. Like what is he going to do to revitalize the project. To me he makes it look so easy. Take off paint or whatever, sand, top coat = masterpiece. I just love watching and rewatching his videos. Always amazed by him. The kitties are such a ➕. God bless.
This was truly a labor of love. That poor piece looked like a truck ran over it. Needed so many repairs. Result is beautiful. Hope you enjoy it for many years.
Wow, you saw all the potential in that pile of wood, and also gave the lady something for it. I really appreciate your eye for quality and your kindness, and of course all your talents with restoring/refinishing! A truly lovely piece.
I so admire the pride that you take in your work. So wonderful to see. This piece is now beautiful and I liked how you left some parts dark. You have the hands of a craftsman and the eye of an artist. Be proud.
Such a beautiful piece! The variations in the colors of the wood are one thing that makes this piece so unique. As usual, you handled every detail with such care. I'm glad you are keeping this one. Great job! 🙂👍
Awesome! I really appreciate this journey you take everyone on. You are fearless. Jumping into projects and learning as you go. Getting better every piece. Good job, brother. Keep up the great work. You are truly a unicorn!
This is beautiful restoration! I love the dark accents and the luscious color of the beeswaxed oak. Your old-school technique for clamping was awesome. Thanks for the always sharing your talent with us. 💕
Seeing this beautiful piece saved from the dump is so inspiring. It probably would have been a lot less work if you had painted it but SO glad you didn't. Always enjoy watching you work and seeing the outcome.
Lo felicito por su excelente trabajo,me gusta mucho ver sus videos porque tiene en cuenta, hasta lo que no se ve,por dentro, por detrás,por debajo,es usted un auténtico perfeccionista.
Simply lovely! I would be so happy to have a piece like that in my apartment. Really nice! I was also thinking how great it must be to have all your tools and equipment set up and ready whenever you need them. Congratulations on your workshop.
Absolutely beautiful!! I love how you pay so much attention to the restoration of a piece of furniture rather than just a quick fix. You most definitely have a talent for this type of work. Looking forward to more of your videos.
As soon as I saw this I thought wow this is going to be a job, but I knew that you would make this piece beautiful again. I can understand why you wanted to keep it. It is absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic job.
It's been such a pleasure watching you evolve with your work and channel. The piece is absolutely stunning! It's heartwarming that you paid the person when they didn't ask for it. I'm Looking forward to the next project. Be safe and well. Cheers :)
Wow. What a transformation. I think most would have turned that into firewood, but you saw the beauty and potential in it. Your attention to detail sets you apart from many restorers. Congratulations on passing 40,000 subscribers. Love your videos.
You NEVER disappoint! Another beautiful transformation. No matter if you are going to sell the piece or keep it for yourself, your attention to detail is mind blowing! You might be surprised that you’re closing in on 40K but I’m not. Your videos are amazing!😊
It’s absolutely amazing as always! I know it’s not your main occasion but you are so good at it that maybe you should consider becoming a professional furniture restorer!
I said it before...but I absolutely love the care and gentleness you use to bring these pieces back to life! Great looking piece. And I love the contrast of the two colors. Beautiful!
If this shows up twice , I apologize. I am mind blown! To see how you took that broken piece and turned her into the magnificent beauty that you did is awe inspiring! Your attention to detail is fabulous! So happy that you used wax and let the beauty of the wood shine through!
This is a beautiful restoration/transformation, Jay(even better in your new workshop😁) ! And such a gorgeous piece for you to work on and keep in your new home. Looking forward to all of your future projects!💜
I was waiting for you to post another flip. What a beautiful restoration and a LOT OF WORK but you didn't disappoint. Impressive and so glad to see your channel is growing at a steady pace. Your work is worthy of more subscribers. I appreciate your calming voice and no distracting music! THANK YOU!
You are amazing! I hope you took a picture of it and sent it to the lady that you bought it from so she could see the beauty that you restored! I am always thrilled with your attention to detail and taking care of every piece on the piece of furniture. Everything and every piece deserves to be loved and restored. Thank you for your fantastic video and I am so thankful that I found your channel! Take care, stay safe.
Greetings from Aiken South Carolina, USA!!! As I was watching this resto I noticed the statue and I absolutely love it. love your work too!! I make jewelry boxes gadget boxes and clocks, I only use the battery-operated ones.
Your attention to detail is absolutely astonishing! I am mesmerized just watching you restore something so broken down and breathing new life into it. envious of this piece!
I wax all my finishes, too!!...thought I was the only glutton for punishment with that type of finish, glad to see I'm not alone....the piece came out beautiful, love your channel!!...
Okay, I've been watching your videos for awhile now and I have to say this is the one that impresses me the most! I love seeing you grow as a hobbyist by adding in full restoration! The replacement wedge, plugs, and choice of stain have made me want to subscribe to your channel all over again!! You're brilliant!
So beautiful! I'm glad the samurai is back. I'm so happy that you have all the new tools. And a convenient water source, makes life easier. You are growing so fast as a furniture restorer, I'm impressed.
Great job, you've inspired me to do something with an old hall stand that I was going to throw away, it's not worth much anyway but if I can make something better from it I'll give it a go. I don't have all the fancy tools but it's only a small project so fingers crossed I can do it. Thanks again
That old time trick for clamping was so smart! I really enjoy watching your journey through each piece of furniture, and the end result always makes me smile… beautiful results every time 🤩
What an amazing restoration. I love it. I don’t know if I have the patience to do this. But you certainly make it look so worth it. I wonder if you ever show the original owner the finished piece? This looks so good!
Your work never ceases to amaze me. I'd have took one look at this when you started and thought throw it out, it's only fit for firewood. Then you somehow manage to turn it into a magnificent piece of furniture that anybody should be proud to own.
You are amazing!!! So glad I found your channel. Your love and appreciation for these furniture pieces is obvious. I too love them and so glad someone like you are bringing them back to life.
It was so nice of you to give the previous owner some money given the condition of this piece and knowing how much work you had ahead of you. You've certainly brought the poor old piece back to life. It really looks great now
This is beautiful! I love the tonal effect with the unsanded darker parts and the black wax in the details. I have a question. When you applied the glue to the skinny crack and then sanded it, was that basically the same thing as using some saved sawdust and mixing it with the glue to create a filler? Or are you using the glue as the filler and just sanding after the glue is dry? I’m glad you’re settling into your work space.🌸
Once again you have not disappointed. I so love how you have restored the beautiful character of this piece. It's looks even better then I had hoped for
