Nothing better than “show and tell”as you rediscover your cards again. Love your commentary that goes along with your remembrances of buying them or receiving them when you were young. For me that’s the best part of this hobby. Thanks again
Some GREAT Binders Dave. Had to watch this one twice already! $100 is a still now a days! I agree the 1975 set is the Best of the 70's, I pick up any I find cheap while out in hopes of building that set one day. I am stuck building the 1979 set now and working my way down to it. The Mars Attacks Binder is AWESOME! I again say the Lost in Space set is one of my Favorites, I was raised on that and Gilligan's Island and Hogan's Heroes so anything to do with them is a step above other cards. The Batman set would be cool to see done also because that falls in the above group of childhood watch time. I hope you show these off again to someone before another decade passes. Love it Dave! Lots of sweet stuff in those binders! Great example of some vintage stuff that is affordable to collect with the deckle edge, supers and giant cards! When I first got back into collecting 1 1/2 years ago the 69 deckle edge set was one of the first I worked on. The wacky package cards are awesome! I love the Kellogg’s cards! 75 Topps mini set! Wow! It has to be cool to find a bunch of binders in the house with awesome cards that you hadn’t thought about for a long time! Thanks for sharing all these cool cards!
What a fun walk though memory lane, especially the 1970s! Love that 1976-77 basketball set. Those cards are huuuuge, especially when slabbed. The 1970 Topps Super set is so cool. Those images are great. Very fun to see more of your collection - thank you for sharing. I loved your father's note about sending back his check if the cards are not MINT!!
