I've played alittle of this myself another storage option that is a little cheesy is using grass and 4 firewood to make fire pit then remove the firewood and it will leave a burnt campfire that you can put two stacks into on the top and bottom the only real investment is the grass. but yeah small amounts of water and far amounts of sand is almost the only way to get to copper unless you really get lucky with copper spawns. looking forward to more vids cheers
What does the shovel do for you? Can't you punch everything you can shovel? Sounds like it isn't worth making with limited tool materials. Drifters gives flax fibers so eventually you can make sacks for inventory. Sounds like you should make lots of things very bountiful in world generation to increase their chance of showing up. And lower rabbit spawns...(hmmm seems that would need a mod) Timelapse is a way to show you did something without it taking forever. horsetails spawn on farmland, might be a fuel source. Slow spawning fuel source...(unless it spawns really fast like the rabbits) Don't put the torch in your offhand, that takes more food! Cracked vessel with a copper pickaxe would be a great find. IRL you can make a wooden knife, it just needs to be sharpened very frequently.
I think one chunk can't work well in VS, however maybe challenge: "start with one chunk then chunk expands" (to random chunk?) after X days (configurable) could work? Maybe? 🤔 No idea if it's possible from technical point, but could be cool.
