I think this man is the best. The restaurations are perfect. And, what I really like, tools stay tools. They don't become a very shiny showpiece you want to show in your home. The tools stay tools you want to use, what they are made for. And lepiece de la resistance, the inspections byAvril. If Avril is content, so am I!
There are a lot of people that do things like this on youtube. But there's just some added magic about the way you do these restorations, there's no other way to describe it except it's just right. Thank you for making these videos.
I absolutely love how you guys are putting more an more videos up. I get so excited when I see LADB pop up on my notifications. The way you keep it original and use repurposed wood an things for the fixes are my fav.
A couple kitty timestamps: 15:22 Avril inspecting the pieces. Late, but fluffy still 20:24 Resting orange cat assistant getting back to action (moving around is hard cat job) Thanks for the clip! Awesome work! God bless you!
Mmmm, that was very satisfying. I'm so glad you keep finding original old tools to restore. I'm often intrigued by how unique some of the French designs are.
Looking at Avril's coat we are in for a cold winter ! That was a very pleasing restoration, not as old as your usual subjects, but it now looks suitably "vintage", I can see a small electroplating kit in your future! Stay safe! Chris B.
You guys are my favorite restoration channel, Love the skill and care and the approach. Helps me to relax after 13 hours of delivering packages... it being near Christmas, we are busy. So thank you!
Nope, I thought right from the start you're going to clean it, put it back together and it would never work. Once again you've proven me wrong. Fantastic work
Beautiful work, as always. So many other RU-vid "restorers" wipe clean any history or stories the items may have. Your restorations return the items to working order, and yet maintain the history. Very well done, and thanks
C'est tellement agréable de vous voir redonner vie à ces magnifiques outils! Vos vidéos je les dévore! En plus la mise en application de chaque objet c'est du bonheur! Comme quoi avec un peu d'entretien, c'est increvable!
I have generalized anxiety disorder. I found your videos by accident and it's helping me to relax. I've started to watch one every night before going to sleep. I don't even understand about restoration, I just like the calming vibes. I thought you'd like to know. Thank you.
I love this channel. Like i het into watching other people and now your the only one i still watch. Idk why i just feel like he does a lot better than other people
Excellent. Besides unique restoration which is impossible to comprehend. U restored a machine which is totally recommended in contemporary time such as electric grinder which causes cancer like diseases. God bless u mate
Love your restoration work. All that you restore are still usable tool and not just pretty showpieces. I don't think you could do what you do without Avril's help though. LOL
Brought back to life fully functional GREAT work !! Older tools have so much character and are made to last a life time . Sometimes they just get lost or forgotten in a garage or a basement or a attic . But thank god you find them and give a second chance !! Love your work !! And your video's !!👍👍👍
From a retired tile setter, good to see old school tools of the trade restored. These tools sadly are virtually useless now with the new porcelain tiles being made. I still have mine from 40 years ago, lots of zinc and aluminum parts, same design. Thanks
I've sanded down wood by hand before as well. There is nothing fun about it but it is satisfying watching it transform and making it new again. Great job on this project! 👍
Outstanding work my friend. I have a newer version of a tile cutter like this and it doesn’t have the same character. Yours I would want to use, mine I use because I have to. Fantastic work and love Avril’s cameo appearances in your videos. 👍🇦🇺
That cutter has more complexity than what they sell today. The ones I've come across never had bearing, much less pivot, dept and guide adjustments. Very good tool and very good restoration.
