would love to have one and it's cool that something like this is being made. but at $5,000 and remembering when real clavinets were $300 "way back" in the 90s, there's just no way.
@Robert Jameson first of all you could get a refurbished laptop for $1000 or less but let’s go with your $2000 for a new Mac running Garage Band. Assuming you already have a desk and all that shit. $3000 is more than enough for a decent M box, mics & cables, stands etc. Or you could get the “Viboclav”.
He'd only play it if it was a clavinet/pianet duo. He's got a warehouse of those things, if memory serves. I'm the son of one of NRBQ's old agents, nice to meet you!
I hope to afford one some day. I'm curious, why do the soundboards have WAY more holes than tuners? On both the Vibanet and the original Clavinet models?
