Finally!!! A nice slower-paced yoga workout that pauses long enough to respect each pose and doesn't make me feel as though I was being rushed through the routine. Thank you!!!
This is the BEST video for beginners. It starts out easy and gets progressively harder. I had a lot of chronic neck and back paid before I started this routine 4 months ago I had helped me soooo much. And it relaxes me too ❤️❤️
I'm actually surprised at how challenging this was, even though I used to do yoga regularly. This video is a great way to work yourself back into a regular practice.
This is the perfect gentle yoga class. The pace is very manageable and I the narrator does a great job at explaining the pose and the transition. The whole class could be done with your eyes closed! The setting is peaceful, as well as the narrator's voice. Highly recommend.
This was amazingly centering, soothing and challenging to my flexibility! Being new to yoga, the instructions were extremely HELPFUL as they were clear and timely, allowing me to do most of the flow with my eyes closed.❤
I love this video, I'm not a beginner particularly but have neglected practice for quite a while so I'm incredibly stiff. The best thing about the video is the speed of it, it really gives you time to get into the poses properly, some vinyasa flow videos are a bit on the fast side and don't allow time to concentrate on doing it properly
Please oh please make another video. So many youtube yoga videos just talk and talk through the whole workout. This video is so clear and peaceful and does such a great job of showing proper position for beginners.
This was so wonderful. I've been to so many "power" yoga classes that I almost forgot what true meditative yoga was! This calmed me instantly. Just what I needed.Thank you for making this available!
Please make more videos like this!!!! The music and voice overdub is so much better than majority of videos out there! With no music and the microphone and bad banter from the instructors. All videos should be like this!
This is a good one. Nice pace (not to fast), good instruction, relaxing music and video. I'm 50+ and stiff in the joints, thats why I practice yoga. I like vinyasa because it keeps me focused, but I also like soothing routines. I can't bounce around position changes like a 15 yo girl. Great yoga vid, Cheers!
I suffer from Fibromyalgia and for the past 7 years I'm lucky if I could get up and down the stairs in my home. I started taking a beginners yoga course about three months ago. I have more energy than I have in 7 years. I have less pain. I take the stairs almost as well as before I got sick. I look forward to going so much!! This is a great video, but nothing beats the supportive atmosphere of a yoga studio with a caring teacher and other students just learning. I hope you can get to some live yoga classes too. It will do wonders for that joint pain. Good luck to you and Namaste!!
That is so true, Tanya. A caring teacher makes all the difference, it's an amazing experience, but this is a good video for filling in days you don't go to class. I'm so glad yoga has helped you, I've just started and really love it for mind and body!
I do bodybuilding and heavy strength training, and it amazes me how I can't handle beginner's yoga! I quit with about 4 minutes left, then saw your comment and it encouraged me to finish. I need to do this more often to build some stabilizing muscles and keep up with the cute girls.
That's so great! I'm no expert, but I know how good yoga is and it seemed like a lot of body builders don't think about flexibility and stability, but here you are!
This is my favorite video of all time. Yoga DVD's, online subscription to yoga videos, and yoga classes in a studio....I still come back to this! Please upload more videos :-)
Wow. That was a lot harder than I expected. I felt like I had gotten through a pretty good work out session and worked up a good sweat. I really could feel my muscles stretching and it has really motivated me to work on my flexibility and balance!
I have a hernia near my diaphragm and stomach and I must say that I did this with caution and this really stretched my abdominal and it felt great!I also feel a great stretch in my legs, too! I will most definitely do this again!
Just started my morning with this. First time ever doing yoga. I loved it made it through although a couple things were hard for me but going to continue doing this every morning. Wonderful to start day with this feel calm and great. Thx!
This is really a solid and beautiful flow. Love the narrator's voice, the clear and precise cues, and the 'model' yogi whose transitions smoothly melt and move effortlessly with the narrator's cues. Lovely collaboration. Thank you,
I liked this a lot. Is the first time I try to practice yoga. It was challenging the first time but after 3 days I feel I'm getting much better. I am over weight and I don't find it hard to do at all. It feels great.
I was looking for this video... I was thinking 10 years ago I started Yoga with some by the beach yoga video and the second I heard the beginning music I thought this is it! Thank you - this kick started me into Yoga at 22 :)
That felt so good! I pulled my hamstring last weekend and haven't exercised, giving it time to heal. It's not fully healed, but I did this anyway, paying close attention to that particular muscle group and not pushing it too hard. At the beginning of the video, I couldn't touch the floor without major pain. By the end, however, still not perfect but so much better!
I'm making a planning for a 30 days challenge with different kinds of workouts and I'm totally including this vinyasa! Will be the second time doing vinyasa following this vid.
Adriana an amazing yoga teacher. I choose to do different teachers so that I don't get complacent . I love what is offered keep on going everyone. I am going to try and do a 30 day yoga when I have time. But I love Yoga it is so good for the body and improves our posture so important as we get older. This is about health we have to enrich our body.
waadfrelle Some of my students also have this problem. The postures will reinforce your shoulders, but what they will mostly reinforce is your core. Always engage your core and legs (like if they were gently holding a block in between) as you flow. It will greatly reduce the tension in your shoulders. With practice, you'll feel as if it was your core that was leading and supporting you as you flow. Namaste!
I have done this video for 3 days and already I am noticing a difference. My legs are not straight, nor my back yet and there are some moves that I am finding hard. My partner who has not done yoga before looked at me doing it and said he needed a "beginners beginner" video. I like this one so thank you, and I love the sea in the background its very calming.
She has excellent form. The practice is slow. As it is designed for beginner's, there could be more cues about body position in the poses and possibly more instruction on flowing from one pose to the next. The flow is a good one for those just starting out, or for more experienced yogis on their lighter days. Overall, this is a great beginner's yoga video.
I love this and practiced it every day. At first I thought I would never be able to lower my self down as far as she does when in plank position but after a couple of months I can do it. I feel so uplifted after my practice and it's just a nice length of time to fit in my day. Thank you for this video .
I did this sequence in my living room last night, and today I feel great! It's a true beginners workout, with lots of good instructions. By the way, what amazing scenery!! Wow!! I think I even noticed a rainbow in the background. I feel better just watching it!
I've been following this video and doing the routine for 4 months. I love it. The explanation is great, the pace just right for me. I wish you would do another routine like this for beginners.
Loved it! This is my third day doing yoga for the first time and each day ive done a different video on RU-vid. Im sooo doing this one tomorrow lol thanks! Blessing!
Who else is doing this yoga during the pandemic? At first I was really having difficulty to stretch my body, like couldn’t even reach my feet. But, after following this routine for a month now I definitely feel the difference from what’s the state of my body a month ago... i also do follow some Chris Heria video to develop some muscles. And now I’m trying to cut off my intake of sugars and fat... hopefully i eventually get used to eating healthy stuff...
I really enjoy this video and would love to see more! She is excellent to follow being very steady and peaceful in manner. The background is lovely too! In all a fantastic yoga video! :D Keep up the good work!
I love this video! I've been watching it on and off for a few years and following the moves and I always feel great afterwards. It gives you a nice stretch and is slow enough to be calming, with the music and the beautiful sea. At 22 mins it's not too daunting and you can fit it into your day easily. Always reminds me how lovely yoga is when I come back to it again. I hope they don't ever take this down, I would really miss it!
This video was just what I was looking for, to help me slowly get back into yoga. The directions were clear, the pace nice and slow. If there were any suggestions to make for improvement, it would be this: ... some folks who are totally NEW to yoga may see that this is for 'Beginners', and assume that they can start right off by watching this video. But clearly they cannot. One needs some bit of experience with yoga before trying to mimic the moves in this video. So I might preface the video with '...if you are new to yoga or have never done it before, and want to start by following this video, we recommend that you first sit and watch this video a few times, to familiarize yourself with the moves and the language (names of the moves) before you actually start to try and copy them yourself. The second suggestion I'd make is...especially for those who are new to yoga.... you need to consider that AS they are doing certain moves (i.e., downward dog), the viewer cannot SEE the video because their head is not facing it. As such, during such times when the viewer can likely not SEE the video, the narrator needs to give more detailed, visual instruction as to how the body should be positioned and also give detail as the student is about to go into the next move (again because the viewer's focus is not on the video at that point in time...). Otherwise, this was a really perfect intro, and great for a yoga practitioner like me who's been out of the game for a while, and just wanted something to ease back in slowly! Thanks!!
Nice gentle series as preparation for a longer class. Love the location, ambient sound and clear gentle instruction with occasional uses of the pose names. Perfect start to a cold wet winter day! Am hoping to find a good companion video to extend this opener.
I've been coming to this video for like 6 years+ now, it's my favourite. So peaceful, really relaxing and and an amazing stretch for my body. thank you, thank you, thak you!
Pls do make another full yoga video. Ive tried a lot of yoga in youtube but yours is the best for me. Pls make other yogas so i can have a variety of them. Thanks and more powers!
I was just getting into the flow and BAM! It was over! Too bad. I liked the flowing movement. Maybe she had to make a bathroom run and will be back soon! It is a good beginner class because none of the poses are too difficult. If you want the beginner jargon, go see Yoga with Adrienne. She'll help you out!
Nice slow transitions , easy to understand , great way to return to exercise. For the people that can't reacph your toes use your shins or a yoga brick .
Please make another Video, yours for beginners is so good. It is well explained, slowly, relaxing and gave me a good feeling. I also could follow without a lot of watching. Love it. Thank you for this vinyasa Yoga Video
that is a beautiful place u picked for the video and good work on all the bending and everything you are doing, im trying to get myself to be able to do that.
This was surprisingly harder than it looks! It's even harder with a kitten trying to jump on you the whole time :/ But I made it the whole way through! My back feels amazing!
This is the perfect introduction for yoga that I need. I did it a few times already, and am always amazed at sweating at the end of it! I will try to keep doing this every day. I was hoping if someone could advise me on a good instruction video on how to correct your own poses? I feel must be doing some poses wrong, as I feel pain in my wrists during upward facing dog for example. Thanks for the video!
Nice flow. Not too much talk or sitting around. Down to business and at a pace I could enjoy. Good to just do basics. Great to loosen and lubricate the joints. Thanks.
The first time I tried it was super tough, 1000 deegrees in my room, and I felt pain from stretching, now its the 2 week that I am trying it, and I am sweating wayy less.
This is my one yoga class that I've been doing for a long time now, I like it so much that I shared it on fb to my friends, I am happy to see new videos, thank you so much! 🙏🧡
