Hey Christian, I have been watching and learning a lot from you. I own a Class 12 desert race car that I will be wrapping and appreciate you showing the differences in gloss, tack, color etc and now explaining why the interior vinyl is really for interior or limited exterior use. No one else actually says why it should not be used on exterior, so Great Job Bro! I may be able to use the Carbon on exterior since the conditions are harsh out in the desert but mostly dry. So a thick 6.5 Mil film might be better than thin when rocks bang off the body yet still hold up with the lack of water out there. Keep up the great work! Thank you
love watching your videos. I recently got my hellcat wrapped. Someone backed into it a few weeks ago. Repaired the bumper and figured Id try redoing the front bumper myself. Pfffffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. You have to be a god dang magic wizard to do that. The pockets for the scoops/vents absolutely destroyed me.
They do make that for external, it's their 3d art tech. Carbon fiber. Love you videos. Thanks for all the help. Car looks so much better with your help. My old vinyl jobs liked like crap.
Hey Christian, Could you please make a quick Video about your Garage ? I would love to see how you arrange your wrapping tools and vinyls and how you keep yourself organized. Many greetings from a big Fan from Germany !! :-)
Can you do a in depth video on wrapping a vent recess similar to the BMW M4 fender vent, It's a spot on a lot of cars that installers do incorrectly and I'm curious to see how you would do it, just info like where to make the proper relief cut and when. As well how to lay the vinyl in the recess without over stretching and discolouring. Just thought I would throw it out there Thanks
Haha got the same heatgun and sent it back for exactly the same reason. power on top which is not handy when you hold vinyl in one hand and need to turn heat gun in the other hand! :) Another annoying thing is that it blows for a while after you turn it off to cool it...
Hey Chris I am not quite sure when you made the video however I just bought that same wrap from VVivid on Amazon and it specifically stated that it is safe for marine and interior as well as exterior. I am not quite sure if the description from Amazon is accurate though
Looks just like the one i ordered on aliexpress but hope it is better since i did spend hours doing the trims on the interior of my bmw e90 and the next day as soon as it got sunny and hot the bubble disaster started so it turns out that the vinyl cant deal with temperatures. Next time i will have to go with 3M although they dont have that real carbon fiber look
What is that spray you use to make the adhesive more playable so you can lift and pull easier? Also best online supplier for tools and accessories? Thanks heaps in advance 🤙
Hey bro, maybe it's not usual for you this kind of comment, but can you make a tutorial on how to wrap a front bumper, or rear bumper or any panel with Oracal 651? Here in Argentina it's very difficult to get the vinyl you use usually. Please it will be very useful for me! Thanks for reading
Hey CK, would you say this is the most “ real looking “ Carbon fiber wrap? And what different brands and different 1D-5D Looks, and bang for buck$ and would be best for interior VS Exterior. Also, what is your Personal opinion and which you’d Prefer? If you threw $$$ into the Question and Equation
It's bee a couple of month now since you've wrapped it. How is it holding up? I, mistakenly purchased this vinyl and wrapped my roof with it then found out that it's for interior use only. Just wondering now how long it will last me before I have to remove it due to water damage.
I've been having trouble finding proper felt / high quality squeegees that do not damage the film when applying. I do know that wrapping cars is more sensitive, perhaps you can help. If you could, I'd greatly appreciate if you can link me to the felt / squeegees you recommend on amazon, or other websites. Thanks, your videos are amazing.
Do people really notice if the lines go different ways? the left overs from my hood go an opposite direction but its the perfect amount for my spoiler :( unless i cut them more and try to line them up
ive tried before sir but water still gonna get in between laminate because of stone chips..hope that Vvivid brand will do good or last a bit longer ..shame we cant use it most of the time because water between laminate problem.but other than that this CF looks very nice..Keep it up.Love ur videos sir.
nur aleef just use the exterior tech art version. In fact, it has more of a real CF look to it because it has a real CF color to it with the black-grey color tone while this one looks less realistic since it’s a dark black without any grey in it.
PhD05 from what I see the vvivid tech art gloss carbon looks just as real. In fact more real than the one in this vid as when CF is too “black” it looks fake. It needs that blackish-grey color tone which the exterior version has.
any tips on my 2006 dodge charger mirrors there a pain in the ass I've watched most of your videos. I already tint and clearbra and I'm trying to learn wraps to add to my shop.
Hey Christian I can't decide between this carbon fiber or the elemento 6 carbon fiber by Sott. Can you please help me decide? I think they both look great.
CK Wraps how about as far as looks, does it look pretty close to real? I was wondering if you've had personal experience with it. Many reviews online say it's "the most realistic"
Ok thanks!! Ive been looking at the 3m Black Rose and I saw it on a blue car and it looked much more purple. Guess it was the lighting . Ty for the reply
I just ordered some black rose mettalic! But I have worked with 3m Black mettalic and it is quite thin actually. You can see through it when you remove the backing. The block rose might be similar.
