Hello Mohak, I'm a student of Political Science in Sxc kolkata. This is such a well researched video. Quite well put,to the point, fair. I've read some of research works used here and this is such a nice feeling that your work is being noticed by people. Fair knowledge is essential for becoming of a sound voter. I believe you are doing a great job in this regard. I'm going to share this with my department.
I am thinking of becoming a political scientist I am currently in class 12th Can you tell me anything regarding this career option Btw I am commerce stream
Whatever shown in the video is just glimpse of history not social or political science. If you r really interested in facts and want to see things as they are then you need credible unbiased sources. People part of some political propoganda can be informative but more dangerously they may keep you away from reality on the ground. Talk to people there ,you will understand what's happening currently and how it's different than what Left did. Considering we live in a digital world and r in 21st century with more reach to incidents ,one should not compare what happened in 1960s to what is currently happening..just to justify violence.
Being a bengali, I was an eyewitness of the violence after TMC own the election. Besides torture on BJP workers, houses of commoners were also broken and many innocent people were also tortured
If BJP comes to power, expect more and more violence. Communal violence will increase. BJP is authoritarian in nature, and Bengalis have always been against that. This will lead to more and more conflicts. I admit, TMC has been involved in minority appeasement, but, Bengal has also seen a new wave of development. CPIM made mistakes, but, their leaders were educated, and that’s what Bengal and India needs today. In conclusion, neither TMC, nor CPIM is perfect for Bengal, but BJP is absolutely the worst choice. BJP is culturally incompatible with Bengal.

@oblivion yes in case of bengal that's true we need Industries and a right wing party is perfect match for it but the problem with bjp is that their politics is based on religious polarisation, they oppress the minority and appease the majority and in a state like west Bengal where the percentage of minority is like 30%, it'd horrible. @Kejriwal Zindabaad hey turn your phone upside down n ..pɹɐʇǝɹ noʎ dn ʇnɥs. Bengal originally refers to the land of West bengal+Bangladesh + plainland tripura+ Assam's barak valley.. You are talking about west Bengal here Only.. Bengal Isn't one anymore.. There is no such word called "bengal" in the native bangla language.. It's an anglicized name of the region.. And in Bangla language, "the word Bangladesh literally means bengali country" so you can't seperate Bengal and Bangladesh lol. Don't use our lands name to denote your colonised state. We Didn't seperate from you guys🤣😂. Partition on the Pakistani side and on the bengal side Weren't same. We Bengali muslims made the majority of the population of united bengal back in 1947. Why would we want partition of Bengal? Why would the majority Wanna separate from the minority? Yes, before the pakistani resolutiom was put forward our leaders wanted a seperate united bengali country (West Bengal, Assam's barak valley, Bangladesh). But dadababus from kolkata rejected it complaining because they Don't want to be in Muslim majority country and demanded partition. We Bengalis on this side never wanted to be merged with india because the bengal region was never a part of india. We were historically always seperate and independent and were never in a political union with hindi-belt before the british came. West Bengalis sold themselves to hindi speakers. 70% of the total bengal region's land is today independent under Bangladesh, and most Bengalis in the world also live in Bangladesh. In america, there are two seperate states called Virginia and West virginia.. West virginia is small in size than virginia. That's why it's Bengal 🇧🇩 and West bengal. Ask a five year old outside India what "Bengal" means They'll automatically refer to Bangladesh as in much of the word, we get called bangalees instead of "Bangladeshi".. Call it Poshchimbongo, bangla prodesh or whatever. Don't forget to put the prefix " West" if you're saying bengal.. So that you guys remember you’ve got no rigjts over our land. Only the small western part is for you ppl.

The killing happened. But "the mother was fed rice mixed with her sons' blood" is a fake, framed, bullshit rumour. Sains were tyrant jaminders of their time and had a lot of land in Barddhaman regions. They used to exercise the power by exploiting the workers (mostly marginal SC/ST farmers), harassed the women of the workers family and even killed the workers. It's surprising that we humans always have something to divide ourselves. Once it's religion, once it's ethnicity, once it's language and if none are present then we divide ourselves on lines of ideologies and party. Maybe it's our tendency to have conflicts, but we should try to avoid it becoming physical violence
Divide on ideas is good as long as it doesn't translate to violence. Often the people who bring real positive change are most fervent believers of their ideas.

Wow being a bengoli from west bengal, can't deny any of your statement. It was all true 👍 the things we see today were linked to our past of political violence, who could've guessed that 😅
*Bengal was flashpoint of violent attacks since British era. There are two ways of generating revenue for political parties nowadays. 1. Cut money/ vasooli 2. Crony capitalism 1. Cut money/ vasooli is the quickest & easiest way to generate money. It is taken from common people. It hurts common people a lot. It doesn't generates jobs. It is not sustainable. At the end when people gets fed up , they kick out such political parties harshly. 2. Crony capitalism-- its a type of capitalism where a small number of capitalists, industrialists are supported in return they help the concerned political party. Here common people are not affected. Natural resources are affected a lot. In return heavy industrialization is done in short time. It generates job too. If any political party becomes expertise in it then they gonna live for a long time. But its not easy for all political parties. So its upto you which one to choose
Just to clarify you, the Protest of Singur and Nandigram was basically a Bluff, played by Mamata herself. A very dirty politics which led to backstaging of Bengal.
Thank you Mohak Mangal for explaining Bengal's violence culture on elections. In Maharashtra due to vinoba bhave's bhumi dan movement we saw equal land distribution. So also, in 1965 onwards Sharad Joshi's efforts, landworkers who actually doing agricultural activity became landowners. Is this kind of things didn't occurred in west Bengal or jamindars purposely failed such National movement in terms of agricultural reforms.
Concise, crips, well researched, and unbiased, which is the most crucial aspect of this video. I wish it was more detailed, but little is better than nothing.
