Actually, I was recently doing theory "homework" for my drivers license, basically yes/no questions online, they asked "can you control a car sliding" sideways and the answer really was "no".
how can a question be about asking if you can/cannot like "can you cotrol your car when sliding" me: yes i guess, i practice drifting. Test: no you dont.
3:26 Look at Naoto Suenaga in the mirror, he's so happy about his reverse entry. People, this is what drifting is about. The sheer enjoyment. The controlled out of control, the purr of the engine transforming into a roar. This is drifting.
I've been into drifting for 13 years and watched a lot of vids of drifting the during that time, before RU-vid was a thing. and I can honestly say this is the most impressive driving/drifting I've ever seen...
@@frds_skce I’ve watched a lot of drifting from all over, it’s the fact that the cars set up is simple and not heavily modified and the way he drives it impresses me.
@@spncrgrnnoriyaro was hosted into the trash taste podcast, in said podcast they usually talk about japan related things especially in the manga and anime side of things..
@@St1nkyPete japanese summer is hella humid it might have an influence on the dash not cracking. That or part availability makes it that they changed the dash.
I literally got chills watching this, I strive to one day have the skill and commitment to be able to drift at speeds like this. It reminds me of some of the old Japanese race drivers that would destroy competition drifting through corners at blistering speeds instead of trail braking and apexing etc. I cant remember the driver but he had drifted every turn in a major touring car series and absolutely destroyed the competition and track records, high speed drifting is such a beautifully violent art.
Thank you for sharing so much pure sound and pure driving . U deserve way more sub's man . Really . Thank you again . Regards From Portugal. Keep on the good work . Please :b
Have probably watched this video 30 times since i first saw it, never gets old. It would be a dream come through to get a ride along or be able to rent a powervehicles car there :D
Finally a real drifting video this is how real drifting is done a couple of four wheel drifts in there as well. lines are perfect and straightened out at the end of the apex nothing like drift competitions in other country's which I consider to be done completely wrong.
This guy is driving that s13 like its a 86, driving the shizz out of it! He has to be a former hachi roku driver. Aggressive and many clutch kicks! Great vid!
this guy is crazy! I love how he's probably going 100mph+ on that main straight. He's laughing and just enjoying it! that's what drifting is all about right there! love it! :D
Yeah, but what this vid doesnt show is all the cool-down laps, parking with engine running to let it cool further etc. Well kept car driven within it's feasible limits = Lasts a long time :)
I like the amount of power in this car, it make the driving style even better that he has to consistently stay on it. It's not soo much power that he is just rev limit banging all the time but it is also not soo little power that he can't roast em when necessary. Nice.
That car might have seen better days cosmetically, but MAN does it shift! Also, I don't think I've ever seen a more appropriate name for a video, that IS some VIOLENT High Speed drift action!
Really love your footage! Great learning experience watching the helmet cam videos. Suenaga is a beast, looks awesome. Do you by any chance know the hp/ps on the car? Thank you!
The sheer commitment and convictgion of the steering work from Suenaga in entries and transitions is what separates pros from joes. So sick. Alexi, how intensely modified (power/chassis) is his missile?
hey alexi love your videos been watching these and hpi Vida forever. wondering if you might have the full video in car view? would love to see what he's doing down the straight haha
This video is my main response to Ken Blocks Gymkhana's. Yeah what Ken does is also briliant, but guys like this man, THROW a RWD car on the straight of a track to the side, trying to get the first drift right. I've never seen anything like this.
