I didn't think to add this during video creation, so I'm going to add it here. If you have trouble getting certain achievements done (for example: not enough people to do a boss kill you need even though its open world) look under achievements -> daily -> daily living world season 4. There will be a zone with dailies in it so it will be higher trafficed. The day I write this it is daily sandswept isles, so it is a lot easier to get stuff done in sandswept today due to all the people there. Hope this helps!
Fantastic video Muk! 'Sadly' it comes at the tail end of me completing the first collection. Just a small nitpick though. The Xunlai Electrum Ingots do not have a daily cooldown, but the Lumps of Mithrillium they require do. If you've been making those for ascended equipment anyways, you're set to just make the ingots at any time.
like for example the 2 legendary bounties starcaller & seneb; BUT however: i advise if not a "daily-day" >> tag up and do both metas (specimen + storm/echoes) and include the legy bounties in that lfg desciption and advertise the "meta" squad in mapchat/guildchat - added legy bounties will be likely done since u got a highly populated squad; sometime i did starcaller even in between echoes for north meta, if not both after the metas.
That's too much work for one item. I have a life, Muk! *Proceeds to start working on vision, because said life consists of having fun in my off time* Thanks for the guide!
For newer players going after Vision- the skyscale from the SotO collection will not work for Vision achievements. The 'Rift Repair' mastery is necessary which can only be acquired from the LWS4 Skyscale mastery track.
@@darkviper1875 Not sure about overlaps specifically but both collections are focused on LWS4 so there are probably parts of each "Visions of *insertlws4map*" you can do during the skyscale collection. Due to both having timegates, I would advise doing both simultaneously. The brandstone research part of Visions of Istan takes 7 days. The xunlai electrum ingots are a timegate if you don't have a stash of lump of Mithrilium - you need 18 of these and you can only make 1 mithrilium per day (you also need 21 of these for Aurora if you don't have that yet). Regarding the LWS4 skyscale collection, there is a time gate of a minimum of 3 days and 8 hours. The 3 days are because you can only feed 4 pieces of skyscale food per day during "Skyscale Care" achievement and the 8 hours are 4 sets of 2 hour waits at the end of each skyscale achievement cluster. You also need a total of 22 charged quartz crystal to craft the items needed for the skyscale achievement - you can also just buy these items - skyscale food + grow lamp - but it's expensive. You make charged quartz by taking 25 quartz crystals to a hero point - you can only do this once daily. You'll also need 250 of each lws4 currency, 41g, 1500 volatile magic and 500 trade contracts for parts of the skyscale unlock collection. The skyscale is easy to get outside of the timegates, just a lot of mini collections to do - mostly flying round dragonfall gathering stuff.
@@darkviper1875if you're going for vision I highly recommend just doing the old Collection achievement for the skyscale. Otherwise you're doing it twice over like I had to do unfortunately.
Already made all 3 PvE trinkets, still watching these videos because they're so well put together. Really wish I had these when I made them 2-3 years ago!
Vision is the first legendary I crafted. It means a lot to me and it really prepares me for the other legendaries I crafted after lol. I was like how the f people do all these things and then found out that a lot of collections, especially gen1 legs I craft are much easier lol Ps.I also found out later that I can get the first item of every collection from WvW reward track but I had quite a lot of fun doing all of those story achievements which I also did all for Aurora. I also really love the 32 slot bag achievement. It's sad and beautiful and I really love how they name the achievement. Probably one of my most fav achievements.
Nowadays I have all the legendary trinkets in the game but from time to time I watch these guides just to remind myself of how much I went through to get them.
@@minkuspower Paul Atreides from dune was 'prescient' becoming the Lisan al Gaib The voice of the outer worlds = the Kwisatz Haderach. one with the Vision ;-)
I used a lot of Krakatite Ore making Stellar equipment, and although Ice is a good way to get some, a much faster way is to park alts on the Astralium and just run around the top layers clicking on columns and mirrors for 25 per alt per day from the heart.
Same. I have all other achievements but I just don't feel the motivation to do the astral weapons. It's just ridiculously expensive to make and I know it's for a legendary but still.
Powdered rose quartz can be bought on the TP! You still have to farm for the kralkatite ore, but you can get 75/character from doing hearts daily, as well as buy 5/day for volatile magic in dragonfall.
I just finished with the 6 weapons a couple days ago. Frankly, set some orders for the Powdered Rose Quartz in the bazaar. Even when doing something else and just alt-tabbing ever 15 minutes, the grind is absurdly long (specially considering you won't always have other impact hunters around to mark up to 5 for max rewards).
Guys don't be ridiculous , please do both metas in Bjoras , Drakkar and the Storm Winter , also go all around map each day until you learn where all the chests are and you may also wanna do a couple of puzzle there . Look for tutorials about puzzle but they are fun anyway . And in just 70min max you will have around 800 shards per day which is 250 300 kralkatorike only by there .
As I am slowly working though this, I thought I would add that the wvw reward trad for Istan gives 250 of that map currency in the final bag as an option if you already have the armor needed. I assume pvp reward track does as well. Excellent guide and tips on this. Thanks.
If you go for Eternal Ice shards, you should do Drakkar meta at Bjora Marches every now and then because it can drop an infusion. It only takes like 20-25 mins if you have a good group. And it's not hard at all. It rewards you tons of Eternal Ice shards.
For astral weapons collection you can join a group that has subgroups in different instances of the map and farm kralkatite ore from the meteorite as whoever is anchoring that map calls for it.
Yeah, but farming meteorites is so painful and inefficient I'd rather actually do hearts. And if you play Bjora at all, you will have eternal ice coming out your ears.
By far the fastest luckiest legendary trinket of the bunch. Lemme quickly explain: I had 3 of the 6 Astral weapons from unlockers so I only needed half the kralk. I had 5 of the dragon blood weapons from Thunderhead peaks. Only needed 1. Skyscale I've had for years so no issue there. The thing that took the longest was "The Star to Guide Us" achievement. It was honestly rlly fun and not that bad. After watching and COMPLETING all of Muk's legendary trinket guides this is my conclusion. Aurora is longest. Coalescence is "hardest" Transcendence (if you like PvP) is most fun however if you go for new amulet it's technically smarter and more profitable. Conflux was kinda.. meh. Idk went by so quick. Just WvW for a month or two and it's yours. Vision was a breeze but if you need those currency then Eternal Ice Shards and also Seasons of the Dragons are the way to go! I'm officially full legendary. I got runes, sigils, armor, trinkets, backpack and all weapons except underwater and 2nd pistol. Time to take a well deserved break. Still need light and medium armors but I'm in no rush. Thanks Muk! (If you actually read this whole comment your a legend)
You forgot something very important on the Astral weapons section, they also require 3000 Powdered Rose Quartz and 300 Ectoplasms. These can only be gathered from Brandstone and not from anywhere else.
Vision is also an "every character" legendary. So if you have stupid amounts of alts like I do, having the legendary trinkets...etc make switching builds everywhere on your account easier.
I did started on Vision achivements even tough i haven't finished Aurora(shakes hands at Mystic Tribute). Apreciate the guides in making these grinds more tolerable.
It will take probably a considerable time until i get to this guide again to make vision, but thanks nonetheless, i already took a few things away from it to cross out when i have time/during normal playing :)
I started doing vision without even knowing what it was about LOL done it halfway so far and started aurora almost a month ago thanks to your video. Its been a fun ride and a change in my course in the game
Hmmm....There is a Johnny Nash joke here somewhere. On a side and completely off topic thought, Being that this video is unlisted, do the likes and views count as much for the early algorithms? The read more is a spoiler For the peeps that need it: Johnny Nash sang "I can see clearly now"
I believe any likes OR dislikes count as interactions (also comments) and show youtube the video might be liked by more people out there, however I don't know if it differentiates likes "before it goes public" and likes "after it goes public". That said it blew my mind when I learned dislikes can help a video LOL
I recognize that I have no life, but my concern is arenanet's continued stingyness with ways to earn mystic coins. For the average player "with a life" they can expect 1-2 coins per day (depending if daily mystic forger is in rotation). Like I already have 3 accounts for 60MC a month and considering getting more, but it seems unreasonably tedious that the easiest way to the currency hardest to get is more money at anet.
Little hint I found out while doing Visions of THK: using wardrobe unlocks or similar items has a chance of unlocking dragonsblood weapon skins which then does not force you to craft all 6 of them - once the skins are acc bound and u have 6 of them you can buy the according 5g-item for the vision-achi at the volatile vendor in video. For astral weapons in Istan m not sure if they are available with wardrobe unlocks, but if so, same for astral weapons in istan then. At least for THK i can affirm 100% this works.
Confession: I encountered an unpleasant surprise when looking at the recipes for the astral weapons, I noticed you indeed need 3.000 kralkatite ore, but also 3.000 powdered rose quartz, which are not as easy to bypass as a reagents as kralkatite ore. It seems the fastest way is to do it as it was intended: farming it in Istan (which makes you inevitably farm kralkatite ore at the same time).
EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS FIRST. I just got caught on this, was so concerned with the 3000 kralkatite ore and farming ice shards during my 7 day timegate, and did not know about the powdered rose quartz.
For getting the 3000 ore, you can do the three hearts in region with any character you have and buy 25 ores a day. Doing all three will net you 75 ore for basically little to nothing karma. So if you have like 10 characters, doing all three hearts and buy their ore surpluss supply will net you 750 ore a day. Combine that with the Frozen Ice and getting all 3000 ore is really quick.
Legendary's HARD No do!!! Watch Muk vid & Well shiz that's a breeze, then hit 'Mystic Tribute' & proceed to have a panic attack (How Much! ffs) Nose to the farming stone again lol gr8 vid mate! Praise Joko you are here to guide us in this dark time ;-)
Thank you for updating this with comments that we can now buy a few ingredients from the TP. I hope people will pay attention and don’t try to farm these it’s a pain.
For vision of thunderhead peak, don’t forget you will need 60 map currency per weapon (in addition to the jewels that muk covers). You can get these with ice shards but since you are already using ice shards for the astral weapons, it’s going to take a while to have enough of both. The good news is it’s going to take so long to do a star to guide us that you will likely be able to just continue the ice shards farming daily routine and have enough.
Already done Aurora, and currently at the last step of getting the last 10 incens (because ****** anet timegate logic). Having done some of the success beforehand had gained me a lot of time. Yeah people who wants to do get that legendary. Do it slowly or you'll burn out quite fast. I think you should have added the 'pink quartz ore'. Because it only can be gathered on Istan kralkatite vein. And the fact that ************, ******** and ********* vein only pops once every 15 minutes. Thankfully we can buy it at the TP. Now maybe i should go back to raid for the ring.
I think because it was tradable and also I get some each day from my home instance I had that mentally labeled as an "easy" ingredient and I didn't really think about it. oops.
The "A Star to Guide Us" Achievement mentioned at 6:50 or so has a few achievements that are a lot easier to do with friends. Keep that in mind before tackling this otherwise you might have a bad time. Love the video, thanks for the guide!
...This video made me realize I already had a decent amount of progress towards the first Vision achievement without even noticing it. That and I have enough elegy mosaics just sitting there in my wallet for me to buy 100 funerary incenses. I might actually work on this before or after I begin work on the Claw of the Khan-Ur.
I finished vision a few weeks ago. Got my 3000 kralkatite ore by completing hearts every day on multiple characters.... feel like an idiot now, never thought about using eternal ice shards
Eternal ice shards are bae. I do strike missions everyday and thanks to that i got the skyscale pretty fast and now i have 750+ of each LW4 token sitting in my bank hehe
Out of all of the "Visions" of the first collection, I feel Istan has to be the most painful so far... I mean, i've already completed Sandswept Isles and Jahai, and i'm well on my way to have Thunderpeaks finished as well ; but Istan? That preliminary Kralkatite research requires a minimum of seven days to be completed... and then, there's the whole Brandstone farming to get the 3000 Kralkatite ore, which is a massive grind as well (without mentioning the somewhat tedious mini-game that goes with it)
This guide was GREAT! Easy to follow, ended up with a ton of stuff and now have vision! The only thing I didn't realize was vision only showed up when you enter combat. Thank you again for the guide getting ready to start Aurora next
@@MuklukRU-vid It didn't, I have the bag but the subachiev under Sandswept is still greyed out :( pretty sure anet support won't help as they didn't do anything when i had problems getting a coalescence part. Guess I have to craft another bag and hope for the best lol.
And my guild mates called me crazy for getting map currency nodes for my Home Instance! Ha! A hundred of LWS4 map currencies? I have 250 of each in the Bank and more in my pockets! And as for a LWS4 Skyscale? Yes, I have that too as I'm playing in strict order of release and am saving up for IBS! Crazy? Yes, I probably am. By sheer luck I'm also quite well prepare- Oh. I need an alt who can craft weapons too, don't I? To the character creation screen!
Wait, I always get more than 3 serpent jewels from that puzzle, you just need to use the special hability in some special parts of the rooms and there's a chance to get 1-2 or 3 more Jewel's
Yea, some dev was on PMS that day when they were deciding which achievement to put in it and said "F*** it, let the playerbase that don't do PVE suffer"
I'm having trouble unlocking the dragonsblood weapons achiev, I made all the exotic weapons and I still don't have the visions of thunderhead achiev done. Do I need to make 6 ascended weapons?
_A star to guide us_ (the one for Joko's deeds) Is there a way to get this done without a Griffon mount? The achievement wants you to get some silver and gold race medals.
Important: you HAVE to craft 6 DIFFERENT weapon types for the "Visions of Equipment". I'm "lucky" in the sense that I only had to discover this after crafting the Dragon Blood weapons, with 4 of them being the same (I needed pairs of Diviner's swords and hammers okay).
Didn't realize you could do the reward tracks to get those items. Good to know. Is that also true for LS3? I hate going back into the story and doing achieves there. What's insane is that I've done a lot of this in order to get more armor unlocks to better my chance when opening guaranteed wardrobe, armor and weapon unlocks. lol
Hi, question!!! 'Vision of Jahai'-first item, something recorded of Joko,- is there shortly wey to get it, like trou WvW reward track or PvP, or i have to do PvE achievement(could not anderstand if you mentioned it). Thnx;)🐣
I naively started Vision, I'm a returning player, I'm stuck at the "end" part after hundreds of hours... 77 Mystic clovers & 250 Mystic Coins... wtf I surrend xD
Well, I did indeed get going on this and after a couple of weeks of gathering resources for the Astral Weapons achievement I did it! Yay! That Vision of Equipment is indeed ticked off in the Achievement panel ... and yet it is still locked at the NPC? I have the six Astral Weapons, I've even taken them to her and waved them in her face  But she is uninterested in selling me the item. Is this something that has changed such that I no longer need a physical object?
Yeah only problem I have is getting the mystic tribute... here I am about to craft "Exordium" and "The shinning blade" all of them requiring mystic tribute! and now this too! damn! too much...
Isn't the problem the Poudered Rose to do the Astral Weapons? The Kalkatrice Ore (or any other map currency) is straightforward with the Eternal Ice Shards + Regular Gameplay. But the roses? You have to do that HORRIBLE finding impact sites quest.
