I appreciate the fact that Tommy G isn’t one of these people to just sit here and complain about the crime or just highlight the craziness of it all, but he genuinely wants to understand why these things happen and make a difference in the community. He’s doing a lot more than some of these politicians or council members that get paid big bucks to solve these issues. Tommy does it out of the kindness of his heart.
@Anton Kushnir and before yo ass that has 0 knowledge on the shit disagrees just know that is one of the only way to stop most of the deaths thats the only way to not walk outside and see people dead and nodding on the street. they make the real shit easier to get it will save millions and millions of lives aswell as help alot of people. people losing arms and legs due to people cutting shit with xylazine and other flesh eating shit. And before yo ignorant ass says well stop using some people have real chronic pain slot of people do. Tommy really out here showing the lives of real people going through and doing real things that not a lot of people would be able to hear about or see. So much respect to the boy.
Highlighting the environments we grow up in & what makes us the people we are; needs to be done so much more. Keep spreading the good vibes, and keep letting people tell their story!
@@TommyGMcGee keep up the great work Tommy! ❤️❤️ I love your videos, you’re truly making a difference in this world one video at a time! Much love brotha ❤️❤️❤️
TOMMY, I appreciate you going to visit the folks over on 5th and locust. I spent a lot of time upstairs at the Alma Center upstairs from Project Return. They helped me recover my life and change my behavior so my life could finally make sense. Project Return, as well as the other programs available in this building WILL Change your life. They helped me get over my past and to be the man I was meant to be.
I would love to see our prisons be more of a rehab/school system to help people have a better chance of becoming successful after release. Great video Tommy G!
It will definitely help you rehab. Only two times my brother's been sober in 20 years were both long jail stints. Unfortunately they tend to go back out and keep doing drugs more often than not. Job and trade skills are things that would help big time.
That's called high school! Show up , study, get the grades. And don't be that asshole that is going to fail! It's simple. And yet they still can't grasp how relatively easy it can be for the privileged crowd. I E. blacks in America 2022. There I said it and I stand behind it!
I instantly have respect for any man who does whatever it takes to raise and be there for their kids. And real shit on keeping some things from them but letting them see some things as well and talking to them about it and being there for them whether right or wrong
You can tell Tommy cares about thier situation by showing why these kids are running wild and telling them he wishes he could get them into wrestling and if you know wrestling it's a brotherhood of warriors... Also asking important questions about what's wrong w the community!! While passing 0 judgment! Keep doing you Tommy breath of fresh air my man!!!
My wife and I talk about this all the time. I did 6 years in a Texas prison from 19-25 years of age and got out and saw all of the obstacles. This needs to be discussed more at the highest level. Thanks for the documentary!
Love that you’re so humble about everything never seem to judge , you use your videos to really help and inspire. Especially in this one , you pointed out the bad but also showed the good and showed resources to help !!
Wrestling would be a huge outlet for these kids. I know for me personally, like you, it helped give me the discipline and structure I needed in that point of my life. Without it I feel like I wouldn’t have the drive and work ethic I have today. Sad to see so much potential not get used in the proper ways.
i love you dawg!! respect to helping out da community mane keep doing wachu doing and using this platform u have in a productive. respect and love again for wachu doing for my people. MUCH NEEDED DAWG!! u gon make it far.
Just found this channel, and I love it; real people's perspectives on fundamental topics, great questions and answers all around. Definitely can tell I will be here often.
By far my favorite RU-vid channel! Keep up the great work Tommy! It's great how u are willing to go places most journalists wouldn't go and bring to light all these issues that people are going thru.
love the videos tommy, i moved out of the city because of some very unfortunate circumstances but i always come back to your videos because it feels like i get to be home, the first part of the video at the hometown on howell and howard is actually right where i used to live and where i grew up so it brings back so many memories. thank you for putting these out there and thanks for helping put our city on the map. :)
Just came across your channel man... wish it would have happened alot sooner. Great content and you do a great job reporting. I cant imagine someone clicking one of your videos and not watching the entire thing.
Much love Tommy G ❤ Love how u represent Wisconsin. Born and raised Waukesha area, and thank u for showing love to ur home state and giving real information and education!!
Yo Tommy I’ve only recently started watching your videos so I’m sure this has been mentioned before, but your questions are amazing. They’re so deep yet worded in a way even I can understand high as fuck while I watch these videos. Everyone you interview has so much to say and it’s because you don’t seem systematic like everyone else. Great work man
Keep up the work man. If more jobs came to these areas or if there was better public transit connected to jobs, these areas would be striving just like they were before the massive job exodus in the 70s.
Most definitely. First thing I would do if I was elected mayor is take the 500 million that was spent on the trolley and instead entice manufacturing jobs back to the northside to build back the middle class we had in the 70s.
@@TommyGMcGee Yeah. One of the mistakes we made in the past was building highways right through our city and through black neighborhoods causing the displacement of 20,000 people in the City of Milwaukee alone. We literally displaced more people than the current population of Cudahy. Right when the highways were constructed, industrial jobs left for the suburbs and a lot of people went in poverty.
I don't think china is giving us our jobs back! So the excuse of "if these jobs come back" isn't going to happen. Not to mention the globalist is pushing the robots to do the menial jobs. Hell they are teaching the computer to run the tractor trailers. People are going to be screwed and they just haven't gotten the message. Not only that before all of that new robot tech comes to be... illegal aliens will be getting those menial jobs from here on out. This is going to happen.
Gonna give dude a call and donate some, sounds like he helping everyone but still having some struggles and those are the best people in this world. Great video man from Florida here and a lot to relate to in the vid, keep it up
Thank you for being alive tommy been watching your videos for over the last 2 years and you inspire me 💡 There is so much to the story that happens and so many communities and places I will leave it off with saying that there’s so many and everybody feels like in the end they are going to read be replaced anyway Just like the one guy said that’s life things change and we just need to know how to look at a different and embody everything that it comes with one love.
shit bro I struggle with addiction anxiety ptsd and literally health issues. it's hard for me to get by sometimes. I'm close to Chicago and shit gets crazy. love your videos man
I did 18 months in prison down in racine a few years ago. I'd say atleast 50% of that joint was from Milwaukee. As far as the racial thing.... my girlfriend died from heroin. I told on the guy who sold it to her. He did 7 months in the county jail on probation revocation. I went and did 18 months for 2 forged checks of $300 each... which one of us is white and which one is black?
When you mentioned the incarnation rate in China, why did you leave out what happens to those not traditionally “incarcerated”? Literal concentration camps.
Bro you've progressed so much from when i started watching you got so good at doing interviews and making interesting content its always been good but I can tell you're natural at it now
Amazing work Man, Lovin' it!! That reform program at the end is great, God Bless all those workers for giving people that chance and help to become something better and more positive.🙏🙏🙏
Ive honestly been recently introduced to Tommy Gz videos and i went back from his earliest videos sus bars etc snd as you can see im still climbing i hope this Brilliant brain of a inspiring man has earned the Success hes being seeking along his Journey. Im hooked on your videos you absolute beast! Watching them all! Thankyou for showing experiences that will never be experienced all by one person unless they are Tommy G and part of the Gorilla Gang! Big dogs gotta Eat!
Good job Tommy. I've live in Milwaukee all my life. I work a lot in 53206. It is a tough part of town and I hate that is it's reputation. I've met some of the cooest, funniest most genuine people there. Point being is there are good people everywhere and I think you shed light on that in this video.
I was sad when the video ended. Always appreciate your positive attitude brotha. Great content as always, hope you have a blessed day mane ✌️ also Kia boys pulling up was fire lol
I enjoy watching you grow man your video’s always show both sides of the story and is never one sided keep pushing the banger videos stay safe brotha 🙌🏻🙌🏻🔥
Such an inspiring video , the centre that helps ex convicts or offenders as we say in the uk, is just incredible and a great way to fix communities I wish we had these things in the uk. I was in jail (which is a cell on a landing that hold you for 24hours till they come up with their verdict)yesterday for 24hrs wasn’t the first time but I really hope it’s the last. Thanks Tommy G for another great video looking forward to many more you deserve everything that comes your way with this RU-vid profession. Love from over the pond here in London 🇬🇧
My mom worked with project return to get back on her feet in Nashville TN I really appreciate you not only showing the downfalls of society but also the people and programs stepping up and helping❤️
You got your facts straight lol that area of North Nashville has the highest incarceration rate in the US, not sure where he got his information from because it’s far more notorious than Milwaukee
