Man, Snoop is such a smart guy. Unfortunate he is in his position but hes spot on with everything he has to say. Especially the part when people say they dont want their taxes to help the homeless - like he said, all it takes is one thing in your life and you can be in the same position. Be humble. Beautiful video Tommy.
@@qbcomicaddict2590 but he doesnt seem like a drugie type or to be around those so he probably just doesnt see what others see but he is def intelligent
@@qbcomicaddict2590Well again it’s two different kinds of homeless ppl-those that fell onto hard financial times and those that are stricken by problems entirely out of their control like trauma, addiction, and mental illness. Snoop clearly falls under the first category so most of the people he surrounds himself with are probably also in his position. Especially when a homeless person owns a car, their situations can oftentimes be invisible to the outside world. The majority of visible homelessness unfortunately falls under the second category.
That’s how I feel about school taxes for people who want to own a home, yet choose not to have children of their own.. But I honestly don’t mind it going to the homeless problem tho!. Because you’re exactly right! One or two missed paychecks and you can very easily find yourself in that same exact position.. It’s honestly kinda scary when you really stop to think about it!!.. 😬🫣🫣
Snoop is such a good guy. It hurts to see hardworking, determined people like him being put down by society. He works harder than 80% of people in my high school.
@@Astr8989 Work ethic carries over from high school years. The people in my hs doing drugs and skipping school instead of working are digging a hole that will be hard to escape later.
I used to live in NJ,homelessness was horrible. One guy who had a drinking issue and was often violent always came to my church fo help. He would always tell us he was a chef for the Philadelphia eagles. None of us believed him until the mayor was able to confirm that he really was. His drinking overtook his life and causes him to lose his job and his family. Truly horrible stories
I have no doubt about that. Commercial kitchens, Restaurants and private high stress cooking environments are FLOODED with addiction. Alcoholics are nearly 80%+ of chefs and professional cooks/staff. Then mix in Adderall, meth, Oxy and Percs in the early-mid 2000s. Drinking is still bad, nearly everyone is boozing and something else. Most kitchens the minimum is weed and booze. I've seen addiction take hold of so many people in those environments. 10-15+ beers a day after work or worse while working, using whatever else to get through long days, hot days. I'm so thankful to be out of that industry. It was beyond toxic. Caffeine and alcohol were normal. If you got shit wrecked on a Monday night after a shift no one thought twice, only times someone would care about daily drinking was showing up late, not showing or not being able to make food correctly. It's an open secret in the industry. No Restaurants drug test for a reason. You'll see guys knocking down 4-5 energy drinks a day, beers, shots and usually weed and more. I've seen people lose everything, I've seen many others in rehab or detoxing on someone's couch, lost apartments and would have been homeless if it wasn't for friends. Only time I would see drinking cut down and it was usually an immediate change would be once the person picked up a heavy meth, coke or oxy habit. They couldn't afford to do both so they picked the drugs. Bad enough a guy I worked with had a seizure from a cocaine OD and ended up in the hospital for multiple days. Next day back he was drinking mid shift. No coke but I think a 200 bpm heart rate shook him for a few months. I hit my finally breaking point in 2015, already was cutting down drinking and wanted a change in my life. I ended up having an old injury flare up and couldn't work. It was the best possible thing for me. Basically realized in that time I was drinking less and opted for a month off. Since I've had maybe 8-10 beers in as many years. I don't miss kitchens and easily could see how someone could lose everything. I hope he's found his sobriety and got back to doing something positive for his life 🙏
“You can’t hack me…. I’m Irish-“ I DIED. But now I’m wondering who else she’s given her information or who has had access to it. That’s so very bad for her 😢
Without a doubt fucin brilliant true journalism to be honest the first 2 journalists ever to speak 100% truth and don’t try to manipulate 💯👌 keep doing what you are doing both of u
Your editing is amazing and love the questions you ask. Love the whole crew props to the camera man he does awesome footage and angles. Keep up the good work!
Wow that was refreshing for my own personal outlook on the homeless sometimes you forget people really do just fall on hard times. I feel likes it’s easy to just assume 100% of them are strung out. Gives you some compassion to see someone who really just fell on he’s times and trying to get help.
I've been homeless, for 17 long months, and it is impossible for me to sympathize with any of these folks in this video. This video was shot on a sunny day, absolutely perfect for walking around and tryna find a job, or even just an hours worth of sh** work. What you see here is people complaining that More isn't being freely given.
@@brandonlm0125 I'd agree with your statement, and since we're talking about Choice... Sitting and complaining, feeling entitled to rescue? That's a choice. A poor one. A better choice would be to Go And Get After It
Great content, Tommy and Brandon! You both are doing amazing work. My heart breaks for these homeless people. I wish Snoop and the others the best of luck and hope they’ll be able to get back on their feet.
People always say this shit after a good collab. But a collab is special because it’s scarce. Commenters should stop trying to make business decisions for creators
Love all the content with Brandon, youre both so similar and excellent creators, hope to see some wild travels with you 2 doing commentaries together and side by side! stay safe Tommy.
as someone from the DC suburbs, i grew up seeing both sides of the issue. i grew up in an middle-upper class family in fairfax county (one of the wealthiest places in america, the first suburb you hit when you leave DC), but i went to high school in DC behind one of the worst (at the time) projects in the city (Sursom Corda) and i still live in the area. so i have been fortunate to see the best and worst of both worlds. at my high school, we were required to complete 1000 hours of community service if we wanted our diploma, there was a homeless shelter underneath the church that we attended 2x a month that i met a ton of great people in, who were just in a bad spot. today, it really is like the homeless have been sequestered and shoved into off the beaten path areas, because its way harder to come across an encampment today then it was 15 years ago. but its still crazy how bad the homeless issue is. glad that Tommy made it to DC (and brandon as well, love them both) as i really think they do some good work especially when they team up
I'm homeless in Australia right now it's hard to be in this situation especially when it's from someone else's actions that have put me here the fight is so overwhelming everyday
Keep your head up. Good luck and hope your situation gets better soon. They say it takes one bad thing to make us homeless but we are also one good thing from turning it around and getting back on our feet.
Fuck that, enjoy a video you can't work all the time. I'm on the bounce too in the UK. You got this friend, one day at a time. You know what you need to do and you can do it I believe in you
Yep, when I travelled to the states sep last year. I was absolutely gobsmacked at the sheer amount of homelessness and degradation. It was an eye opener.
It baffled me as well. I've lived all over the world, but sadly felt the most unsafe in the states. Things changed massively since the 90's & 2000's there. Some states are on the same bar as a third world country. There really is nothing more shocking to go from the kinda country they were..to this.
Hey Tommy great video as always. I think one way you could improve these videos on the homeless would be to talk to the people providing the support to the homeless, and maybe other figures like local politicians. Would look great for more of the journalists side of things
Love your videos, been a long time fan. And it’s been great to see how you’ve been able to grow the channel and create engaging and meaningful all the while still being entertaining!
That dude snoop is a real ass dude and seems super fuckin clean, smart, and educated. Legit stand up guy. You can tell he just fell on rough times. I’d like to see an update on him
Hey Tommy G. No Joke Brother this is the most humble, down to earth realestic Interviewing ever. You ask questions let people respond without interupting wow this was amazing video !!!!! I posted this on my community page a Truth Social Media
I love these videos. I think it would be great to cover more of the people trying to help, like Miriam’s. I believe it could bring about more optimism. Knowing where someone can receive that help is valuable information, and you never know who it could help. It also informs people of where they could go if they want to help.
Damn I’m from Toronto and went there for a school trip in April… now that I think of it I didn’t see many homeless people, it’s crazy how this issue has been put under the table… I didn’t even know it was like that.
@@dylangreg4051 Ye i know I just thought it was intersting comparing the two places and how I went to a place that has a homelessness issue and I didn’t even know it unlike where I’m from where it’s super obvious
As somebody who has been in DC for a year, and as somebody who has been homeless for just as long, I can personally attest to everything said here. I will say, though, I have been fortunate enough to have people who look out for me, plus I’m about to get housed in a few weeks!
Im glad im not the only person that thinks school is a scam, thanks Tommy for the video you just dont miss i love what your're doing chicago should be next.
@@AxD_Aif you don't know by now then there's no way you'd understand! You're just gullible and live in a fairytale world! They don't even teach our children cursive or real history! Let's not get into not teaching children about being adults and actually teach us how to be a adult!
Cool to see the differences from city to city. D.C seems to have things right. The fact that snoop is able to get a car and back on his feet tells alot. In LA i dont see that ever happening. Good video tommy!
I work in DC, he was near Georgetown where the rich folks live, homelessness in Northeast and Southeast isn’t hidden. It’s out in the open. Homeless fill the streets. Open drug use on the sidewalk, constant shootings and violence.
*You go Tommy! The pranks are alright but these are next level!! I am so happy for your success no one deserves it more!* *BIG DOGS GOTTA EAT!* *Also Brandon Buckingham is also one of my top 3! Way better than anyone else out here!*
i love you man. seeing tommy and i’s transitions from mic’d up prank youtubers to interview documentarian has been a wild ride. ive appreciated the journey
Great episode Tommy it's crazy that in these times there is huge homeless problem. The UK 🇬🇧 ain't no better it's not just the big city's even smaller towns you have people sleeping in woods ect. Keep up the good work.
Someone tell Tommy G that i love him so much your content is top notch ,you make many of us in Africa realise that america is not what we think it is . Lots of love from kenya
The dude that admitted they’re homeless by choice is a legend. Truth is that most of these people don’t deserve help because they don’t want to get better.
...most ppl only dsv the most afł fátez... ...the true Hell 🔥 s awaiting all śínńers / brééduhrs etc... ...this wróng wòrłd shouldn’t have been made at all...
...and there should be a distance between all ppl at all times, it’s unácceptabłe that x or y would be áłwd to śín in pèace, basically just making it easier for them by giving them free tents and free food, pfff...
And I am the only Queen / Princess / Lady / God(dess) / Star / Leader etc aka the superior being and the only girl / girls etc - ppl shouldn’t be áłwd to misuse big superiority terms or any other wróng things!
And they should at least make them sweep and pick up the packagings for a meal or for a buck, giving things for free is so wróng and only encourages brėėduhrs and báng’ng and other śínńers and being entitłed and expecting things for free, when they could easily ask for a job as a sweeper or something like that to earn a meal or a buck...
snoop deserves more than what he is going through now. I wonder if there's any way we have to help these people from where we are at. I know I'm an hour and change from DC.
"It's easy to be sympathetic until it's next door to your house." So true. The homeless that hang around where I work are homeless because they are addicts. No interest to rejoin society. They just want their next fix.
“It’s easy to be sympathetic until it’s next to your house” Hit the nail on the head with that one. Same with the immigrant problem. Perfect example Texas and Florida shipping the migrants to NY, and then the ny governor stops the sanctuary status
No, he’s just arrogant, loud, and aggressive. I see why there aren’t very many people willing to help him anymore. The guy who gave a tour of his tent seems much more intelligent to me
My grandpa was 143 and I’m 133 but I don’t understand how his is higher tbh I don’t think the iq tests are exactly accurate. There’s a lot of people with high iq’s that just don’t know too it’s pretty common
I'm honestly surprised that tommy hasn't "tragically committed sewer slide" or died in a "random pew pew-ing" with the information he's releasing to the public. keep up the grind ❤❤❤
The stock market is presently riding a high wave of optimism, hinting at an increased pullback risk. No major crash is expected, but we might see a minor 3% pullback. However, long-term prospects remain positive. Market corrections are normal, often providing good buy opportunities. If you're pondering over investing, it's time to act. My own story: 17 BTC accumulated in under 9 weeks, thanks to Mrs Beverly mcCoy, proves this. Her advice could be the key to enhancing your portfolio.
It's easier for me to work with a broker. It's more of a partnership , all based on a shared percentage . she does the legwork required to pick stocks and execute trades , provides complete investment management to achieve your specified goals .
Nice info, i appreciate your concern this will help a lot especially to the young bitcoin investors who have no or lesser knowledge on how bitcoin market works.
I have been seeing so many recommendations about Mrs Beverly mcCoy, her strategy must be good for people to talk about her. Does she work for companies as well, I might be able to get her a deal with my board here in canada .
