I think John could take a semis here, I don't think he'll win but he's really good at rio even when its not that good life last year. People forget how good he is at lefts if they run at ituana. Looks like he's back to doing big airs again looked like last year he was afraid to hurt his knees again. Medina is my power surfer for the moment because he looks like he wants to make the final five but it would be so awesome to see Jordy make it because he's one of my favorites for sure.
Great stuff old surf dad@ i can relate to that as i am an old surf dad at 62!! Great content and be stoked to see John John win this event but especially the world title!!! Then he can be called John John John! He deserves a third world title!! I just subscribed so keep the great videos coming!!
OSD, can you put a spread sheet together calculating what would happen after Gland for Lowers regarding scores? ie if JJ gets 1st, he would have 57540. 2nd gets him 55340 and so on would be interesting to see and that those in the 6 7 8 9 spots currently as to what they have to do to make Lowers would take some time, but would be cool to see
All jjf has to do is compete in Fiji and even if he loses first round he will still be number 1 in wsl finals. The only way he will be number two is if he doesn't compete in Fiji and griffin wins fiji

Hi Dave, another great vid, cheers man. Do you have any gossip on wether Bells is on next year. Everyone is saying Margaret river is on but no-one said anything about Bells. Slightly concerned.
Yeah still in it. Lost out in Brazil last year by choosing Felipe over Yago. Wouldve made final with that switch, since i had Jack for tahiti. If I get to Fiji event down to Baron, Jordy or lower seed goofy
Although the waves at barrinha will probably be better during the waiting period, they didn't set up the structure. So it's almost guaranteed to happen at Itauna
