Sorry for the bad audio quality in the beginning, it becomes bearable after the intro. Its hard to find a mic arm that can reach across my desk and over my joystick mounts and reach close enough to my face. Since recording this months ago, I have gotten a new mic, that I am able to setup real-time monitoring so I can hear when these issues are happening. And Also the new mic is just better and easier to EQ. I also extended the mic to be closer to my mouth. Next weeks video will have me using that new mic and it sounds much better and will prevent further issues in my content. I understand vJoy doesn't do much without Joystick Gremlin, That video is coming next week Monday. Also you may notice in Mondays video that I have aged and my hair has grown... I recorded this months ago and just got caught up with life and other personal issues. I have lots of plans for content regarding Joysticks and peripherals, the JG video wont be the last. I have a new set of sticks from a "Virpil competitor" to unbox and review, VKB Gunfighter MKIV review, and much more so stay tuned!

my arm is long af, so my mic hangs upsidedown in front of me, and is well out of my face. Try removing the cage around the actual microphone inside to see which direction it points because it only points in one direction it's not 360. Once you have that knowledge angle your microphone accordingly

I've been using this method for over a year, and it has made binding all my devices with SC easier, and I no longer go crazy when I get lost. Because joystick Gremlins save your setup, I use this with all my SIM games.

Unplug your joysticks before installing vjoy or it may get stuck. I had to restart my computer and try installing again after unplugging joysticks and it worked.

You can also map the stick a bit more granularly and have it be the weapons wheel.

Nice video. Had I found it earlier I would not have to uninstall then reinstall Joystick Gremlin, HidHide and Vjoy to setup these bloody second virtual joystick with a different number of buttons...

@@cbrfromhell9156 they are perfect for the blue collar guy. Lol the sensors are next to perfect. Theres literally a .5 inch off of movement but the stiffness they come stock with is insane, but im sayng that from preference. A lot of people like to loosen them but i love them the way they are. The software took se getting used to but i figured it out evetually

I'm hearing some pretty bad audio issues. I think maybe your compression settings are way off, or your condenser mic (not sure if it is a condenser) isn't getting the power it should. As a twin sticks user, I'm loving your videos. Thanks a lot for sharing!

On second thought it might be a trigger-happy audio gate that's pumping your volume.

He's using the Shure MV7, it's a dynamic microphone and needs to be positioned closer to his mouth or the gain needs to be increased.

Yes I'm aware, I addressed it in the pinned comment. Like @or10nsharkfin said my mouth isn't close enough to the mic, my new mic that you will see on Monday now sends a monitoring feed to my headphones so I can know when this is happening. I also bought mic arm extensions that bring the mic closer to my mouth. It's hard to get a mic arm to reach over my desk and my joystick Mounts and be inches from my face.

Hey, man; I already commented this as a reply to someone else's comment, but I also wanna bring to attention that your audio is cutting in and out--and your microphone being the Shure MV7, since it's a dynamic microphone, you need to have it placed closer to your lips or increase the gain for it.

I wish this solution worked for me. I have tried this a few times but Joystick Gremlin keeps crashing on me and makes playing games impossible when in the middle of a fight all my joysticks stop working. I have reinstalled it three times and tried on a brand new machine with a fresh install. I feel like the developer has just stopped working on it. If there was a paid version that was updated I would 100% pay.

Im about to get my first duel set up from a X52. Going with VKB omni and the Gladi base model right stick. What does this software do? Im new to the duel community lol.

By base model you may just mean "non Omni" but incase you mean "non premium, don't get the non premium Gladiator. Most people regret not spending the little extra in the beginning to get the extra buttons. This software creates virtual joysticks that your computer will see as any other joystick. And the video coming out on Monday will showcase the software that will allow you to bind physical buttons to the virtual joysticks that this software makes.

On my Ko-Fi page, my websites and description have links to it. My gladiator NXT bindings have that file in the zip. I will warn you that due to SC being... SC, its not guaranteed to fully clear. I typically do both built in clear and my file. And I still skim through and make sure its blank. subliminal.gg/bindings/

I have a question in relation to this, I run dual T16000m sticks for elite and SC, but I do sometimes switch between a yoke to one of the joysticks for flight sims, if I was to set up VJoy and Joystick Gremlin for dual stick stuff, would it just be a matter of adding the flight sim to the whitelist on HIDhide so that one of them can still be recognised on there?

Well you could use HIDHide to hide what you don't want the flight sim to see. I guess that would be one of your sticks. But you wouldn't need joystick gremlin to do that. However what JG can do is allow you to make a virtual joystick that combines all of those devices into one virtual joystick. (Your flight sim would probably need to support 128 buttons, I hear some game dont but im not sure.)

I need help if anybody can help. Not getting much help on VKB discord. I have this exact set up, but my twist is automatically inverted. Some of my axis is normal but my yaw on my right stick and my throttle and twist axis is inverted. What can i do to fix this if i already flashed my configs with the vkb software?

Is this only really relevant if you have like a simpit-worth of peripherals? Would this all be pointless with 1 stick and 1 foot pedal? I fly HOSAM for the benefits of mouse wimping precision.🤔

I would not bother doing this if my only two peripherals were a single stick and pedals. Dual sticka for sure. And a must have for more than two.

It would gave been a lot more helpful to me if you released the video a week earlier. I spent 9 hours trying to get my vkb rudder pedals working with my gladiator (right hand) and omni throttle (left)

@@SubliminaLstv hi, lets say i have 3 mice pluged into my pc, would it be possible to setup vjoy where the 2nd mouse acts as a joystick & the 3rd mouse acts as a pedal? The 1st mouse will remain as cursor pointer mouse
