Found your vid by accident. Awesome work, good seeing another fabricator on the vk builds. If you have access to the old cars with the dual runners and the altima 90mm throttle bodies its a great combo Run electric fans and electric water pump, loads of pent up hourses waiting to be unleashed
There is a brake booster that you can get from the D trucks that is the same dual diaphragm unit nissan used in the z32. It is 1 inch smaller in diameter. I have it in my s13 and it gives a more powerful brake feel. Also I ground the sides of the collins adapter on the sides to match the contour of the engine. This will give you a bunch more clearance for headers. It is a lot of material removal, but there is a lot of steel left.
I did a, I think it was, a 1997 Maxima brake master cylinder in mine. It's casing is just like the one that came in it but all of it's connecting lines are on the other side with a 4th coming out of the top of the end of it. I did all new hard lines and liked having a 4th line instead of only 3 that the 240 originally came with. You will also have plenty of room to do a custom heat shield to protect it too. I LOVE the work so far and I hope I helped.
Not sure if you're talking about Colin from the CP3 website. I've used his adapter and he's great at making any changes. I'm doing the opposite moving the manual 6 speed over to the titan truck. Finished one and starting two more conversations soon
Yeah you bet, its a 6 speed CD transmission from a 350z. The car used to run a Vq35 & Gearbox from a 350z so all the running gear is the same for the Vk swap. S13 differential, S13 axles, custom driveshaft, Cd01 manual gearbox, Colins adapter plate, and lastly Vk56.
