Oh Kate, the DK socks are so beautiful. I like how the colors positioned themselves in each sock. I am a fan of letting the colors be wherever they want to be.

Such a lovely, calm drive along that beautiful coast! Just what my frazzled holiday nerves needed. I had to laugh when you approached the single-lane archway, though. Everyone is so polite. In America, we would have been fighting it to the death to get through first. Scraping against each other knocking off the side view mirrors! Your Christmas socks are wonderful. If you knit the colorwork socks, just go up one needle size. I learned that the hard way. ❤

The beautiful north coast. Strangely, I have never visited that castle although people say the tearooms in it are really good. Isn't it amazing the difference in the 2 socks? Love the colours. Also love the pair you are still working on. I have never knitted socks. Maybe give those a try. Thank you for the podcast.

Oh that drive! It reminds me so much of where I live in Northern California near the Pacifuc Ocean. Oh how I’d love to visit Northern Ireland! Maybe someday. I love Wales and it looks like I would be just as taken with your country. My granddaughter is also on the spectrum. It can be a challenge but I wouldn’t want her any other way. Kay Litton had a sale via her Flossmas, so I purchased her Vanilla sock pattern and another as well. I’m gearing up my nerve to start knitting socks. Wish me luck!
