I really like that a pure screaming song from them is getting popular. When a band features clean/distorted vocals people often gravitate towards the cleaner songs but it’s nice to see they can hold their own with just one style.

I love watching your reactions to songs I’ve never heard as well because we’re both sitting here grooving to some good shit and having the same reactions when some good riffs or vocals hit.

I'm pretty sure his 'vocal coach reactions' are the BEST on youtube.. and believe me, i watched almost ALL of vocal coach reactions on metal bands/songs (on some other types of rock too) avaible on youtube. He brings it all: charisma, excitment about the songs, complete/detailed analisys with proper examplification of the types of scream and technicques involved when he screams himself to make us understand, + quality music, and overall quality on the videos. Subscribed! If i was born with talent to sing/scream well on metal songs i would definetely hire this guy to help me out... he knows what he is talking about.

I used to listen to Necrotizing Fasciitis on repeat and it's been so long since I've even heard the name Viraemia. Thank you for your videos; I subscribed immediately!

Hey man, I listened to your band Kardashev, the song Between Sea and Sky reminded me a lot of a band called 'Son of Aurelius' they were amazing and I'm wondering if you've heard of them.. if not you should definitely react to one of their songs from the album 'Under A Western Sun'. Their vocalist is now the singer for 'Allegaeon', but while he was in SoA he was legit one of the best vocalists in metal, imo.

I would love to see some reaction to old The Agonist. Alissa White-Gluz blew me away with Lullabies of the Dormant Mind album. She was way ahead of her time in that band, obviously fronting Arch Enemy now, but she was something else in The Agonist.

I'm curious if you have any comments on Courtney's jaw kind of moving to her right side during some of her more intense screams. You can see it at one point in this video and some more in Mara Effect Pt. 1. Seems like something unique to her, but I was curious if you had any thoughts on it. I really like your analyses. Your reactions seem to cover a wider range of metal than alot of the other channels. Have you ever done something not as "popular"? Maybe some carcass; swansong album - Nightrage; sweet vengeance album - Children of bodom; hate crew death roll - Arch enemy (when they still had the male vocalist), etc. That 90s/early 2000s kinda stuff. Black star is an awesome song. His voice is very different from alot of others's, I think.

Pretty much the same reaction I had.. this was a masterpiece, Courtney is amazing and those lows, my god! I also really liked the drum and bass interlude too, it really fit the song. If I had to pick two favourites, it would be this and Rule of Nines (which interestingly is the system they use to assess burns victims, continuing with the "creepy" theme). Really enjoyed your commentary thanks!

You should check out Disobey by Crystal Lake, their a really heavy band from Japan with some awesome vocals, also Holy Gravity by Annalynn which has awesome vocals and features the singer of Thy Art. Keep up the great work man!
