The song "spring rain" is a certain meaning related to historic events happened in the spring in Korea. It is very hard to explain about deep sorrow filled in survived peoples after harsh winter, hunger, exploit. Most of farmers had to endure until June from November. (Barly crop in June) A hundred of uprising happened in 400 years after 1592 (Japanese Invasion of Korea) had initiated at spring time. To surviving the season of spring poverty, they had to send some of big family as a slave or eat the roots and herbs, skin of trees. (korea food is famous for vegetables, herbs !!) SO,,,,, Spring rain makes us remind the dead, separated family. Spring rain is the same as tear-drop. This is the reason that 'spring rain' is so sad.
