Vocal Coach Reacts to 'Adagio' Dimash - Final The Worlds Best Performance 

He was told by the producers when he asked if there were goin to be kids he will compete with and they told him no .. and all the contestants we're not really allowed to speak to one another ..in his culture I heard , that the adults do not compete with children. So he widrew the moment he realized that he was competing against 2 children. Dimash donates a portion of his money to support children in his country to learn music .. how can he possibly compete with them as well. The World's Best Show was dishonest with him. And he entered this competition cZ he was asked by the show to compete . He seized the opportunity, but as we can see, it didn't turn out as he had hoped . This is his last competition he will ever join . and I am very proud of this young man who sticks to his principle over fame or money .. He is a great example of Self Dignity and Grace.. He sang the song longer than what we have seen in this video and he even played the piano. TWB cut MOST of his performance and I believe they also cut off some of his speech which made him look bad. The song doesn't even make sense. Look back and you'll see the obvious cut. Compare it with the adagio he performed in The singer. He was battling against two kids, Daneliya and Lydian. He thought it would be unfair to compete against kids. Plus it was against his principles because his family and himself are big supporter and contributor of the youth getting their musical education, he supports the new generation, not compete with them. Moreover, he loves Daneliya dearly.. you can just search for "Dimash Daneliya" video here and see how he loves her... And I think he became good friends with Lydian And he just basically loves kids, especially kids with talent. Here's an excerpts I got from one of Dimash's fan: "Daneliya said a week or so ago that they were all under strict instructions that they weren't allowed to talk about the competition during recordings and the performances and the performers didn't know who the other competitors were. Dimash later found out Daneliya was in it. When he inquired the show about competing against children, he was falsely informed that Children were in their own competition separate from adults." So now, you think Dimash is being disrespect? It is the show who are being disrespectful of him. They are deceiving Dimash and getting him on the show would get people around the world to watch the new show. Cheap I tell you. Somebody who was there in the audience told us that when RuPaul said "You knew what you were getting into...", Dimash actually said that the show told him that he would not be competing with children, thus why he accepted the invitation in the first place. Well, they lied. and they have the nerve to cut his speech. They thought that Dimash was just going to carry on for the money and title when he was that far in the competition? Lol. No. If he's not up against kids, I think he would not step down. And about the culture thing, I get it. Kazakhstan may be quite similar to the way we are here in my country. You respect the elders, there are certain way to talk to the elders and children... And you protect the children and set good example to them, not competing against them. So it's important to set the age limit. In America, it's totally different there... So those judges just don't get the culture differences. But he doesn't lose much. He's a millionaire, billionaire maybe... He loves to share his talent, but not for the money or fame. He just loves music. The thing is nobody knew who they were competing against till the end an once dimash figured out 2 kids were competing he decided he wanted to leave the show to give them a chance an and opportunity because he thought it was unfair for him to be competing against them espcially cause he was an adult who had loads of training an experience.What he did was amazing an shows how sweet an kindhearted he is. An in the end a kid won so dimash got his wish

The song was cut. He left because in his culture adults don't compete with kids, they believe kids should be elevated. He asked if he be competing with kids and he was deceived. He didn't know what he was signing for. It was actually cut from the program the explanation, but there were fans in the audience that made a video explaining. I suggest you check the version of adagio in that China contest. It's powerful! Oh, he was humiliated by the judges in this one for asking to leave and he was very polite and humble.

Actually he has composed quite a few songs. The first at 19. The first recorded I guess his teachers said he often wrote songs for poems and sang them rather than recite. He gave all the proceeds from his London show to foundation of sorts he as that supports young artists. There is a Kazakh saying “Who a boy will become is evident from an early age”. He certainly showed the world who e is, a humble and honourable young man.

He left the competition because he opening the two little constestants' door. Other contestants were kids. What a humble and great charachter he is!!!

He was playing piano from 5 y o. And on youtube you can find him playing it being child. Also he plays drum and dombira(kazakh national instrument). All his performances were cut. This show probably do will not have the 2nd seoson, as they disrespect their participaters.

He left the competition because he did not feel it was fair to the other 12 year old girls, and he did not want to stop their opportunity. Dimash is a very humble and genuine guy. It was out of what he thought was right even though he was scolded by those that did not understand this values and generousity.

This shows what a beautiful soul he has. I am not expecting all the people to understand his gesture. It's a matter of culture and education. First of all, this should be seen as a show providing memorable moments and not as a competition though it is defined this way. Competitions have led more to destruction (of environment, , of characters, of education of whatever we want) than to improving quality during the human history. How about harmony and cooperation? This is the message Dimash wanted to send. So, let's enjoy the show and don't let heavy words coming out, like that judge did. for no reason, after all. Life is not just rules, rules are more than questionable, especially because they are done by people. I have only one regret, that Dimash didn't performed "The Diva Dance" to blow everybody away (in the good sense). Respects for the show man, he has good sense and understood what was really going on. Life is more than exposure and money Rupaul!

Not only he is an example to younger generations proffesionaly and moraly speaking but he also stays gentleman after being insulted in his face by a judge. We in america are use to pair up kids with adults as AGT has been doing it for a long time but its not accepted in his culture and geographic region. You have to ask yourself, would you turn down one million dollars prize for your own belief and culture? I admire Dimash even more after this noble and selfless gesture. Congratulations Lydian!

Dimash has his own songs that he not only sings but writes and composes. The first composition was at the age of 19. But I'll just stop here and you should understand why. Cheers!!

we shouldn't believe everything we see on TV. It is all highly edited for shock value or their gain. Someone who was at the taping of the show stated that Dimash had enquired before the competition began whether there would be children competing and was told no. According to the person who was at the taping, When RuPaul said to dimash “you knew what you were getting into”, Dimash responded by saying “I respectfully remind that when I signed up, I asked whether I would be competing against children and I was told that I wouldn’t. That was a precondition for me to agree to participate in this competition. This is my favorite stage and my favorite audience. It was an honor to have been able to perform here for you.” And of courseTWB chose not to air this part T^T Also, he spoke to the judges and withdrew from the competition before he sang (not after as shown on CBS). Danileya also says the competitors were forbidden to talk to each other or watch the other competitors so she and Dimash did not know the other was one the show!!! It’s obvious that the producers made many cuts to his performance - it’s choppy, they butchered it. And I’m sure by now you’re aware that he was lied to from the very beginning when he asked if he would be competing against children BEFORE signing on. So, no, he did not “know what he was getting into.” I’m sure he won’t be so trusting in the future. Greetings from Florida. Edited to add: I just re-read my comment here. I hope it didn’t sound as if I was upset by you questioning Dimash’s reasons for leaving the show, which was perfectly understandable if all you knew about it was what the producers allowed to be shown to the public in the aired version. If I hadn’t watched the video by two women who were there in the audience that day, I would be puzzled too.

Because before he signed up for the competition he ask is he going to compete with children and they said no, that's why till the final he found out he had to compete with 2 children, he was disappointed his country culture don't compete with children but help them not to compete with them that's why he want to give up that 1million, money is not everything, that is Kazakhstan.

You should watch Patrice and Anita discuss Dimash on World's Best Show on you tube....these ladies were in the audience. They saw and heard first hand what really happened there.

*He has an incredibly beautiful head voice;* his upper belts tend to be a hit or miss, (3:00 Hit 🌌3:23 & belts after, Miss 😥) mainly due to his lack of support & high larynx up there... If the reason he gave for forfeiting is genuine (wanting the kids to win) then that's very admirable of him ✨ But then again I can see why others could perceive it as a bit egotistical, especially because it makes it seem that he was so certain that he would beat the kids/too great to compete with kids.

What I don't "get" is what is the point in being vocally talented, wanting to be known as being vocally talented if you're not going to sing anything one would listen to by choice - rather than to note that it's technically difficult and he can do it?

I refer you to watch a video by 2 members of the audience who were there ANITA and PATRICIA who were there!!! on You tube. Secondly; the Final was between 12 MAN KARATE TEAM and a 13 year old PIANO PLAYER playing CLASSICAL music. As a VOCAL COACH you would NOT be qualified to judge...Right? this begs the question how do 50 judges come to a conclusion on Technical merit of judging in these TWO fields of expertise IF in fact they are not swayed by 'the child factor' just saying. Dimash had already requested before the show that he was not prepared to compete against children. What you saw was a heavily cut recording of the show an according to the audience members the judges were fully aware of his decision and acted it out which if you look closely and listen carefully you can see its not natural responses. As a Brit I make reference to our own Britain's Got Talent where a dog act wins ( twice) against excellent singers and last year of course a 'Learning Difficulty' dumb guy with a computer was a winner. judged by the Public as you know it's always the 'under-dog' that win talent shows in the UK. Its not a question that he knew facts from people who were there!!

Other people have said he left cause where dimash comes from you don't compete against kids cause they are the future generation. Or something like that

I 100% agree with Dimash, adults and kids shouldn't be in same competitions. In fact, I dislike all child competitions, and I disagree with minor athletes at the Olympics too. I think career choices should be adult decisions. I feel that child prodigies never really made their own choices, they are products of their parents. So many singers have seen their lives broken and shortened by parents living vicariously through their offspring. Dimash was right to leave. Plus they lied to him. Sorry you already know all this by now. But just had to repeat.

He's good. But those high belts are really uncomfortable. Wish he would lower the key.

Okay so first of all .. He played the full first section of piano but they chopped the performance he did not chop the song ...hope you notice. . And the Reason he withdraw was because they lied to him and disrespect him afterwards .. He is honest and responsible Towards his culture rather than some dumb judge's and their nag .. Doesn't matter if he has to pay 1 million dollars to them ... And he is most talented singer he doesn't need this crappy show ... The show needs him that's why they lied for TRP ..

This show is so poorly thought out.. all performances are chopped up without concern for anything...I for one was glad he left, too Hollywoody for him and I think youll find his fans didnt take kindly to the show either.
