Probably the most valuable thing in my possession. A Crimson Thunder CD+case, with the signatures of all band members on it.

About the vowels: Swedish has 9 vowels in the language instead of the 6 that are in English, this makes us quite adapt at playing around with them. There is a problem though and this is one of the reasons that makes many Swedes write lyrics in English. You actually can't change vowel sounds in words when you sing as easy as in English. Many times when you change the sound the world will completely change meaning and there is a tendency among Swedish singers to sing on the consonants more than english speakers do. Also, the rythm that you say some words in might change the meaning so you better write Swedish lyrics so they 100% fit the rythm of the music. For example the word for Santa Clause (Tomten) might change meaning to (back) yard (tomten).

I had actually forgotten how good HammerFall actually is, such a long time since I listened to them. Although they do have better songs in my humble opinion.

This song really gives goosebump and power, expacially that moment with the instrumental build up and the crescendo with "follow the sign of the crimson thunder"

Loved this reaction. This was really nostalgic for me. HammerFall was one of the first metal band I got really into. I got several of their albums signed by the singer and seen them live a bunch of times. I got the DVD of the show this song is from, I watched that so many times back in my early to mid teens (31 now) but sadly I did not attend the show. That venue they played is where I have seen Nightwish live. Once with Tarja and once with Anette, really need to see them with Floor.

Hammerfall are essentially solely responsible for bringing heavy metal back into popularity in the late 90's when it had lost all ground. Not just in Sweden. Joacim Cans is one of the best vocalists ever.

I saw them at a show a few years back and he breathed in some pyrotechnic smoke early in the song but he still performed the song perfectly before taking a short 5 min break to clear his throat, he is more skillfull than alot of people give him credit for.

i was in an opening band for Hammerfall's uk dates in 2010. Dream Evil were main support and well worth checking out. Both bands were super kind to us and all really nice guys

Saw them supporting Sabaton on the NA Tour, they were a lot of fun. Swedes just all seem to have good senses of humor, most people were there for Sabaton, so they joked around about it a lot.. and it seemed like the crowd really enjoyed them.
