The instrumental outro is another one of his beautiful songs called So Far Away. So he meshed First Love and So Far Away during this live show.

I wasn't a fan of rapping before I heard Suga, RM, and J-Hope. Suga is so heartfelt and amazing. I loved D-Day concert movie.

This song changed my life. Back in 2020 I was ill for almost a year at that point from longterm stress, which gave me some anxiety and depression too. I couldn't get out of it (I was a psychologist before going on sick leave) and I couldn't recognize myself - my memory was impaired, I couldn't do the same things I used to identify with myself, I couldn't remember what like. One day I came upon BTS in the national news in my country for breaking insane records with Dynamite. I was like 'who are they and why was I unformiliar?'. Going through some mvs and suddenly came upon this song. I cried for 1 hour straight. It was as if he suddenly reminded me of who I was. I used to play classical piano growing up, doing theatre, gymnastic, expressing myself so differently, I my brain just went "there I am". This is who I am at the core. This is the person I know. And then I dove into BTS and their music and lyrics... they forever changed me.

I was extremely blessed to be able to see this live and when I tell you there were moments during this song where you could have heard a pin drop in the arena, believe me. He held the entire crowd in the palm of his hand. By the end, you felt like you just watched him tear his own heart out and leave it bleeding on the stage for you to see. I go to a *lot* of concerts and it's one of the stages I will never forget.

Yoongi may be a quiet person but still waters run deep! His soul is like a deep sea, like an avalanche and he found the expression he needed in his music! That is why it is so impactful! He is one of a kind!

Apparently, when he was writing and producing the song, he cried the whole time.

Yoongi creates visceral music. Yes he can be savage, but so often gut wrenching.

This performance was so emotional and beautiful. If I am not mistaken, Suga choked up and could not finish the last line so the audience cheered him up. I cried every time I heard this song…

4:10 i love all three rappers dearly and LOVE their music so so much each for their own merit, but Suga is only one who made me cry even without knowing lyrics (i cried to Right People Wrong Place album but it was from audial excitement). First love made me life long army and it made me book my first therapy appointment. Yoongi's lyrics and delivery just touch me on visceral level

This song is from BTS's Album called Wings. The storyline of this album is very interesting because it is based on the novel Damian piblished in 1919 by German writer Herman Hesse. Each BTS member in this album have their own story and solo songs that can be linked to the storyline.

Suga's music always cuts deep regardless of the type and vibe he goes for. He is a true artist, someone who lives and breathes music. I hope he continues to make music and perform both with BTS and solo for many more years to come. 💜

I didn't want to watch this because I know it makes me a mess each time. Suga amongst the members is the one I share commonalities with and First Love was the first time he brought back painful emotions and memories I thought were forgotten. I had a piano too (though mine was black) who was my everything growing up. I have one of those typical Asian mothers therefore, unless I perform to "the standard" I am deemed as the pitiful/difficult child. Since I was not good talking about my feelings my piano became my refuge and friend. It sheltered me my mom's temper and an outlet for both creativity and expression. When I moved out for college there was little time to practice so my skill level went down. I lost a competition and may have imagined the weight of my mother's disappointment; but it became harder to play. I felt guilty being near it after losing too. Crazy but First Love made that time in my life bearable to recall now. This is one of the reasons I love BTS. Sorry for the long post.

Please check out So Far Away feat Suran and So Far Away feat Jin and Jungkook also, it ties in with FIrst Love. This guys is so talented and great.

Suga always make me so emocional with his interpretation and lyrics

Do you know what an honor is for a musician or an artist to hear that they make people who generally don't enjoy their chosen genre/medium shiver? Suga absolutely deserves it.

Part of his soul is a rocker 😂 you should check Suchwita's episode with the vocal of one of his favourites bands (it's a rock band) ...Well, Suchwita is fantastic to know him a little bit in a recent stage of his life.

Hes so phenomenal. I usually never vibe with rap genre at all but somehow this rapper is my favourite artist ever.

The Last from Agust D is also amazing 💜💜💜

His absolute love for music and the piano is so deeply shared. In the studio version he said he cried recording this and kept the crying as part of the background vocals. Pure passion. It gives me chills everytime.

Yoongi said that the first take of this song for the album was unusable because he just started crying. It is so powerful.

Yoongi’s love for music can be felt a thousandfold whenever he raps.. you can feel his emotion, his story, his growth.. BTS rapline’s lyrics, delivery and instrumentation always delivers the meaning of a song.

This song never fails to make me cry. No matter if you are a musician or any other thing, we all have that something we adored as kids, that we returned later on and sadi "how could I abandon this?" It's too powerful.

Keep in mind context-when he wrote and produced this was a while ago. He was ahead of his time, for K-pop/solo

I feel like, in a way, this connects to Amygdala -- the piano (and by extension, music) encourages SUGA to continue when he wants to give up after his accident that damaged his shoulder. And Amygdala is all about persevering.

Love his lyrics and music compositions, the fact that he has this composer ear i think really sets him apart in his delivery! So many textures, dynamics and rhythms

Another reaction channel I watched years ago was made up of classical musicians; they all felt this song was representative of the love/hate relationship one has with their instrument/passion. It can be painful to walk away from it, it can be equally painful to commit to it, fully.

If you guys enjoy his angst/gritty tone, i highly highly recommend "The Last" by Agust D . Its an incredibly raw and emotional song. I especially rexommend finding a live version somewhere, words cannot describe how powerful it is to watch him expell his emotions onstage like that. It truly is the kind of song that stays with you for days on end.

They are extremely personal to yoongi, so i recommend you ask someone to write a short explanation/background information to understand these songs a little better. They are incredibly raw and emotional songs. I especially recommend finding a live version on youtube, words cannot describe how powerful it is to watch him expell his emotions onstage like that. It truly is the kind of music that stays with you for days on end.

One of my fave Suga songs. I shed a tear first time I heard it. I wonder if Suga didn’t have music to express himself how his life would’ve gone.

Thank you for your reaction to this particular song. No matter how much pain he has suffered, it is the piano that cherishes him,that loves him and supports him. Although he sometimes distances himself from her she will always be like the mother he loves so much. Indeed goosebumps. Have to listen to this story again.

I love, love this song Suga and RMs lyrics are mesmerizing. Their boss, “Big bang PD” told them to write from their life experiences; what great advice. They have written and produced from so young and are so good in what they do ❤

Ok, i would highly recommend reacting to the albums as well, like not only a song or two by members individually or BTS as a group, yes you could add different performance reactions, coz there are some legendary ones, like conti ie this as well, if you want to, but i would heavily recommend to react to the albums in their order as well, coz sometimes they're connect and presented very beautifully and sometimes they carry some stories as well, im sure brigette ( I'm so sorry if I write your name wrong) will help you with finding the lyrics and the right videos for it! But yeah like keep doing this if you want to, but once do please react to the albums as a whole ( and brigette please give them the hidden gems as well, the hidden songs from the albums ) 💜

The passion in his voice and how intense it gets never fails to move me to tears. Even the first time when I didn’t even know what he was saying. Almost like spoken word. So powerful.

This song has so much meaning. Yoongi is such an amazing artist! When I went to the movies to watch his concert I got goosebumps so many times

This live performance, where he gets so emotional at the end, always makes me cry, esp knowing he said he cried whilst recording it too- but it would be great if you could listen to the album original as well, which doesn't have all the guitar, drums instrumental at the end..it's much quieter & more intimate, with the strings playing and funny you said about Yoongi's inner metronome Rchard, cos the original has a metronome ticking the beat throughout the song - like music has always been his heartbeat throughout his life (and is what helped save him ultimately from his anxiety,self-harm etc and the difficult life circumstances which he spoke of in Amygdala). It's a beautiful, heartfelt song, sung by our gorgeous, emotional & complex genius 🥰😺💜

But his first love really is the piano. He always wanted to do music, which his parents opposed at first. His father , if I'm not mistaken, even burned his lyric sheets and song compositions. However, things turned out so well for him ultimately, and they have long reconciled.

I absolutely can relate to the goosebumps thing concerning Suga! I do react the same way. And I am grateful for good music that doesn’t talk about men/ women relations…

This song FIRST LOVE is one of Suga's many masterpieces songs that so endearing , there is an essence of sadness showing Suga's vulnerability and yet so poetically , eloquently rapped and beautifully delivered by Suga. Of all the rappers and of all the members in BTS , he stick out the most to me. His music is unique and beautiful , his rapping and flows unique , his personality is unique everything about hi. Is unique and beautiful, Yoongi , my dear we miss you💜

This is one of my favorites, if I could ever name them ..:)) it's from 2016 I think, released, who knows when he wrote it... But I found it to be a timeless song , I love it still and I feel I will love it 10, 20 years from now
