Been using smartlife, govee, tuya and duoco led lights controlled by an old echo dot for sometime now and enjoying the voice commands of lights, a/c, home theatre and tv
@@kennethpaulvillaflor I guess that's the nice thing with this 200 peso adapter.. no connection required. I had a tuya controller that kept losing it's wifi connectivity before, so voice control stopped working. Very annoying. But thankfully the controller also had 433mhz support, and I had a matching "light switch" that can control it. Eventually I just replaced the controller though.
Yeah it would look a bit ugly is an open lamp like the one I used for the demo. It would probably look just fine in a ceiling receptacle, or if you're using a lampshade.
@@GadgetAddict I got one of these but it only responds to Chinese voice commands, could you give me any info on yours so I can get the correct version? Or even a link to your item? Would really appreciate this as it's needed for an older family member.
That's the problem if you're watching TV. Sometimes it can think someone told it to turn on or off.😅 It would be good if you could teach it custom commands.
I've seen voice control fitted inside car's and you say, turn on radio, radio 3. The radio goes to radio 5. Go to radio 3. And it goes to radio ? Not working to well in car's yet
how easy would it be for this to be used as a social hacking device? (sorry for the tin foil hat question) would be scary if malicious actors used that to like learn your voice for AI or some crazy stuff
