The competition is fierce as is the judgment, apparently. The question seems to be, “Did I feel that?”

Not all Filipinos can sing well but most Filipinos find so much joy in singing. We just can’t help ourselves. We simply love to sing🥰

Bugoy note is a mix with emotion and cry note! Almost a pain you kept but it escape from the cracks n it shows..and the down riff was almost catching it in the wave and instead of something painful it ride off in the horizon on a sunset..

I think what allot of people forget when listening to Filipino singers is that English is their second language in which makes what they're doing so much more remarkable. I have seen many of them perform songs in their first language and it is even more amazing.

It's in the genes of being a Filipino coz I also sing to but the tone is smooth. When I was a child my mom would sing random and I'll join her to sing too and the whole family joined some of them recorded this and post it in Facebook and it went viral so fast that the neighbours would ask questions for some reason in my thoughts: wtf is going on making them sing is just commonly necessary.

Katrina's version is the most beautiful cover that I've heard. Very similar to Mariah's voice. I've watched this a couple of times. The birit was not used here just to show that she can sing high notes instead she sang beautifully with the appropriate birit in the song showing off her vocal prowess and her talent as a singer. Very beautiful ❤ it.

Proud to be filipino here. In every filipino family, it is impossible that no one can sing.... It is just natural talent for us... but not all is modified or developed... maybe because of lack of training opportunities.
