Layne is the one who grew horns. The kid is his nephew, chosen for that part because of his weird eyes. I say that's what the guys get for not shutting off the porch light and staying behind closed doors when they ran out of candy.

FYI the kid in the Jack Skellington mask in the beginning of the video is the nephew of the beatboxer Layne Stein

In the beginning right around when they get candy you can hear them singing a little bit then they start singing for this song. I believe the singing is from an earlier video when they filmed after a concert.
