Man that tone... absolutely excellent. I suspect he’s using elevator cables as strings but that’s just a guess. I can’t get enough of how fat this sounds.

He's actually tuned up so his e strings is f#. Same octave as the guitar. I think lol

This is what it calls "Strings made from Steel". With this piano touch, slightly tuned up. That's what Warwick was known for, and that's why I love my Spector a bit more...😁

And then you are quite through, you get together to the point that everyone has his part which paints the picture. A wonderful picture. And then the real joy starts again. Nothing can be better. The bass is actually tuned high:) I don't use the low B string and the 4 other strings are tune F#, B, E, A so two semitones up from standard tuning. All the best, Nicolai, VOLA.

Nic, I don't get not using the low B string! Is that for this particular song or just your thing? I'm guessing the B is for the 8-string guitar arrangements.. Either way, it's amazing!

Hi Gary. I never use the B-string for vola. Asgers lowest note is F# and I tune my E string up to F#, so we are playing in the same octave. All the best, Nicolai, VOLA.

I tuned my 5 string bass to F# B E A D to realized that the F# was F#1 and not F#0. Are you using lighter gauge strings?
