Nice to read a review from a real world owner. One shot drives in car magazines often don't really tell you what a car is like to live with day to day. I've got a face lifted mk6 on order, hopefully should have been built last week. Moving from a Hyundai I30N. Which while being a nice car to drive, can be hard work to live with day to day. The Polo GTI should hopefully be a more rounded car to live with. Question. Have you had any issues since ownership?

Hello, thanks for the comment. The only issue I had was that the rear view mirror vibrated at high rpm (like 5k+) resulting in a strange high pitched noise. This was fixed under warranty so not the end of the world. Cheers, Blee

Me and you seem to have very simlar opinions. Love my 2018 polo gti and wouldn't swap it for the world .

How do you compare against fiesta STs or other comparitive hot hatches? do you find the polo to pull away from them/ be quicker or is it slower? Ive got one on order (2022 Facelift model) and am curious about how it will perform against the others

I don't have any experience with the latest generation Fiesta. On paper, the ST is slightly quicker, but I'd guess that the manual gearbox means that in the real world there probably isn't much difference.
