2:16 Is a classic example of mismatched bumper heights. The offroad XC70 has a higher ride height so the rear bumper is several centimeters higher than the car that hit it, which I think is an Audi A4 and this was also likely braking hard forcing its front end down further. The crash energy is then absorbed by the hood, headlights, grill, radiator etc before contacting the engine block which is where it stopped. There is also likely damage to the Volvo you can't see, I'd be surprised if there wasn't some deformation to the floor pan and frame rails.
Volvo is a normal car though. Don't get me wrong, you can't beat Volvo quality when it comes to safety and durability. But Volvos are just as boring as any other car, nothing quirky or different than most other cars when it comes to design, styling and so on. In that segment I would place Saab in the opposite to "normal cars", not Volvo. Just my opinion, I have just always found Volvos quite boring and not very special in any way other than the world-famous safety....
@@R1ot_Leo yeah but that is not original to Volvos, you can tune and modify any car out there, so I am not talking about personal "upgrades" but the original cars, which are boring af😅
