In this video, we will replace the original lights on this Volvo S80 model year 2001. There will be blue LEDs or diodes in the light switch, instrument panel and climat control.
This leds was a gift from a neighbour, so therefore I do not really know where these lamps are bought. Can advise your viewers to surf into the Diodhuset and look for this bulbs. In the video I show what these LED lights look like and the name of them and of course how to replace these in each panel.
The guide can be used and benefited even if you have a Volvo V70 or Volvo S60. I also show how to remove the instrument panel or instrument housing on these car models.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION when switching to LEDs in the climate panel. Disconnect the negative cable from the car battery and wait 10 minutes before disconnecting the connectors at the back of the climat control panel. There is a chance that you may get an error message on the SRS-Airbag in the instrument panel. This cannot be turned off with a standard OBD2 error reader.
I post a video below that shows how to turn off this message with the obd2 error reader iCarsoft v2.

This error message SRS-Airbag service soon appeared in my dashboard when I changed the car stereo to single din in this video below. I was probably too quick to remove the plugs from the climat control panel after disconnecting the battery.
• Hur man byter ut origi...
We made a similar video on blue led lights in the Volvo 740 which you can see at this link. This video also shows that sometimes you may have to turn the LED lamp if it does not work. Some leads or diodes are important to get the plus and minus poles right.
