I installed red T5s a few years ago (they were briefly blue before I decided to switch colors). Since both the red and blue LEDs I got were cheaply made, I was originally considering getting some high-quality super-white LEDs; However, I'm still planning to do a complete overhaul with S60R gauges and overhead LEDs, instead.

I went with WLJH LEDs off of Amazon, allegedly have a 2-year warranty, so we'll see. Honestly not planning on keeping the car for 2 years. But thanks for the video. Fun fact, I was careful not to lose the T25 screws, I carefully put them in the center console cupholders and... there's a huge hole (by design) in the cupholder where the screw can fall into. :(

Please help i have removed the cluster but there is no holes for the leds. Volvo s60 2003

Good to remember: no key in the ignition while a bulb is out or while you are twisting it - you will get an SRS message. Here's the LED I've used in the video, they still work 1 year later (one or two failed, others are good) www.ebay.com/itm/10Pcs-T5-Wedge-5SMD-Amber-Dashboard-LED-Light-Bulb-Lamp-74-17-18-37-70-2721/202002473982?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I suggest for the message display to use the original glass bulbs, because the LED will be too dim in bright sunlight and you may miss an important message. Also do not disconnect the DIM unless you disconnect the car battery.

Is this the same procedure for the s40?

LEDs are not dimmable.

Never buy pure white LEDs, it looks awful. get warm white for stock look. Also avoid LEDs that have a narrow beam as it will give you a bright spot. I bought some 12v LEDs with inbuilt resistors, so reused the genuine holder.
