Hi Bro. can you please clarify one doubt? when we try to change fuel filter foe volvo v40 d2 there are two pipes. one inlet going in with diesel. anoither outlet. the outlet pipe is easy to open with pressing the white clip. But the inlet pipe is tricky. it had 2 white clips. can you please guide me how to unlock them and pull the pipe out. in the video its not clear. thanking you in advance...

Actually, that clip was hard to take a video and hard to explain with text.. There are two clips. First fully open the end tip of upper clip pull to upside and remove. Then same way to lower clip pull to downside. I'm sorry but this is very hard to explain..

Hello :D I know that D2 engines are as same method of this video. If your car's engine cover as same as my car, then it will be same. From D3, D4, D5 are different. I hope my video helps you.

@@SuhCs Do you know the diameter of the tube pump that connects to the filter?

I used 8 mm hand fuel pump. The end of pump(aluminum side) diameter is 8mm. And you should prepare the 8mm inside diameter connecting hose.

Hello :D Just lift up the clip. Upper hose is little hard to remove the clip, but lower hose just lift the clip then you can remove the hose.

Hello :D I'm not sure but somebody say just press the start button. Ignition on and off, not start the engine. Several times on and off then start the engine.

Hello :D Just pull out entirely from the clip bracket... White clip is most hard work on this replacement job.

I was able to get them off, and everything else went well up until the point where i started the car: it idled for a bit like yours and stopped, but when I tried to start it again it wouldnt start. Any tips on this or how I could prime the system. There is no more air coming out of the filter, but there could be some air trapped in the outlet hose?

For anyone wondering: Pouring some fuel into the outlet hose fixed it for me. Couldnt get the car to start but as soon as i did that, car fired right up and is idling fine

Hello, First, put in your key. Acc on without engine running. Keep press the OK button at left switch. Press the Ingition button together. Do not release your hand. If 'i' mark blinking in the cluster, then release both of button. Then finish.

가용한 예산에 따라서 달라지겠네요 ㅎㅎ 일단 자가정비 입문이시면 벤츠랑 bmw가 국내외 자가정비 정보를 검색하기도, 부품 수급도 쉬우니 시작하시기 편할 것 같네요. 페밀리 세단 언더천에서는 벤츠 w211, bmw e60, 볼보 s80, 아우디 a6 c6, vw 페이톤 정도이겠네요 개인전으로는 w211은 전기형 e320이 괜찮다고 보는데 이유는 sbc 문제가 있지만 후기형은 미션이나 연료필터 복병이 있고 열선이나 자잘한 옵션이 삭제되었습니다. E60은 528is가 진리라고들 얘기라더라구요. S80, 아우디 폭스바겐 계열은 정보검색이 좀 힘들고 부품값이 상대적으로 높기에 시작하기에는 난이도가 조금 있는듯 합니다. 언더2천은 w212 e350, f10 528i, w219 cls350, w221 s350 정도일 것 같습니다. 위에 열거한 차량의 공통점은 자연흡기 가솔린에 고배기량이 아니고 유압식이나 에어쇼바가 선택옵션인 모델입니다. 연식이 오래된 영타이머에 이것저것 많이 들어가있으면 그만큼 메인터넌스 해야할 항목도 많아지기에 적당히 타협하면 유지하는데 부담이 적겠네요 ㅎㅎ 자가정비가 조금 익숙해지시면 선택할 수 있는 차종은 무궁무진하니 시대에 획을 그었던 명차들을 저렴한 가격에 접할 수 있게 되겠네요 :D
