The filter tool is 86/16 not 82/16 like it says in the subtitles. How to change the Oil and Filter Volvo XC40 2.0 D3 engine. Sorry I had to drop most of the sound due to a radio in the background.
Thanks John, I’m not entirely sure because I swear you can get 2 different engines in both D3 and D4 depending on the model and the output of the engine but don’t quote me on this.
Hi mate quick question in the film you say to use an 82/16 tool to remove the filter housing I have an 86/16 which everyone lists as the correct one, But I found it loose . Where/who sells an 82/16 as I can't seem to find one? Cheers Colin.
Hey guys, the manual states after this first oil change at 15k km doing an oil change every 30k. No oil will hold its qualities for this long. Any thoughts on the subject ?
It’s part of a filter removal tool kit with many types, I’ll try to get the code off the kit next time I’m in. In case I forget it’s a Sealey kit if you want to try searching.
It doesn’t seem to be the 82/16 I have written in the video, I may have to check on this when I get chance as the kit is in my friends garage not mine.
@@IAMASPANNER thanks no worries...not easy to find any data on the size of this tool in Volvo diesel engines...last time I did manage however with a pair of large pliers...but easier I guess with the right tool ;-)
