doubt it was a cure wounds but i have no way of knowing how much damage grog took from the acid but i still think it's more probable that it was a straight up heal spell 70 hp just like that feels more appropriate for the occasion tho idk
I use the spells range, character current level, Cleric spell list, and Pikes spell list to help figure out these spells which I can always be wrong about which is ok but she is not touching him so you are probable right it could be Heal good call I overlooked the range of her hand in the image thanks you for the insightful bit of information.
it could very possibly be sunbeam but i think it's a sunburst since the epicity of the moment and since sunburst its 8th lv and sun beam only 6th and the pg were 16 lv
Although your right about coolness factor Sunbeam is the spell she used in the original stream game and they were Level 12 during the original Briarwood Arc. Thank you for your comments I appreciate your passion for the series and the game.
At Level 12 Grog had 163 total Hit Points so if he was even slight injured this would still work. His Constitution Saving Throw at that level is a +9 so him being stunned just represents a bad roll on his part but it could be a different spell. My reason for it being a stun is that Grog wasn't present in the fight for a short time after being hit which could be a stun or other condition which Matt is known for finding was to keep Grog out of fights until the end to not let the fight end to quickly. Thank you for the question you bring up some really good points and I appreciate that.
@@sadknight2826 reeeealy only 163 wow oh well thx for the info. Still it could be a very simple eldrich blast with the invocation that pushes you away (forgor the name) and than the time where grog wasen't present was him needing to actually reach the party as he has follen down the zigurat. I mean it could eaven be another spell but that's what comes to mind when i see the scene, since she should be a warlock , i think, and dosen't have that many spell slots to use.
Also we don't know the distance between the lady and grog, as power word stun has a relatevly small range of only 60 ft and as a squishy warlock i wouldn't want to be in less than 100ft from a barbarian lol
Searing Light isn't from Pathfinder though. It's from D&D as well, just not 5th edition, but 3rd. Pathfinder merely copied it as it is a fork of 3rd edition D&D, but it's not an original PF spell.
