I know it's not made clear in TLOVM, but Garmelie reverts to his normal form when we last see him, and is actually an NPC who is very important later in C1 and even more so in C2. That moment was a huge Easter egg
With enough luck well see him in C2 very soon, a hint of him at least, although i think Jester got her sprinkle quite a few episodes later possibly for C2 season 2 or 3 perhaps, and that's a big IF new viewers will ever get to the big reveal since it's quite literally at the end of C2.
It seems Vex might be getting blazing bowstring from Fenthris. It would make sense seeing how they're buffing the vestiges. Edit: Or rather some new elemental arrows. Will have to wait and see!
@@digifreak90 I'd have to double check. After looting Gilmore's shop she's likely using a lot of magic arrows. But Brimscythe was way before. I know they went to Gilmore's in S1 before the dragon fight. But I can't remember if they ended up taking anything.
@@avasam06 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--x1KxE1IwdA.html&ab_channel=Sadknight In this video, around the 2 minute 25 second mark, it shows Vex using the Blazing Bowstring before she bought any magic arrows.
Stones Endurance is the name of the ability, Stone Skin is a 4rth level abjuration spell for Artificers, Druids, Rangers, Sorcerers, and of course Wizards. Especially the Wizards.
Thanks for the question. So in the original stream game Diplomacy's lightning attack didn't have a name and diplomacy deals 3d6 lightning damage with a constitution save while shocking grasp deals a scaling 1d8. But interestingly enough diplomacy can cast the spell silence but we don't see that feature in this season. Thanks again for the question I hope this information was helpful.
@@sadknight2826 I totally forgot about being able to cast Silence. And how much damage the lightning attack did...I guess I'm biased because our ranger has a ring of shocking grasp so it's always what I think of now lol
Thanks for the question. In The Legend of Vox Machina Season 2 Ep 7 a character called Garmelie drew this image in his sketch book. Thanks for the comment I really appreciate it and I hope this answer was helpful.
It's done for the sake of the stories, also CR have been trying to move away from alot the DnD related concept for this retelling of their stories to avoid law suits, things like Bigsby's hand has been reflavoured into Scanlan's hand, or the beholder that they fought in the Raven Queen's temple were also change into new monsters since those characters and concepts belongs to Wizards of the Coast and CR don't wanna get sue.
@@beautyelisa688 also it was tree stride not transport which is what she does to travel to Whitestone. Tree stride is like the equivalent of dimension door while the other is like teleport
Great question. In the original stream during this moment Keyleth was level 14. In this moment Matt used the rule of cool to let this happen. Keyleth cast treestride first then wildshaped into a fire elemental and passed through them but since the fire elemental could walk into their space anyway he just allowed it if I'm not mistaken. This moment was in stream Ep 63. Also by the end of the Chroma Conclave arch Vox Machina was Lv16. Thank you for the question I hope this information helps at least a little.
2:57 I don't think this is Pike, I think itès supposed to be Pikes mother, although she is voiced by the same actress, and does look a lot like Pike. The hair colour is one tip off, that Pike didnt know how Grog and her great-great-grandfather met, and finally, Wlhiem calls the gnome who heals Grog his granddaughter, and Pike is a great great granddaughter. Gnomes live a long time. She is also missing the facial scar that Pike has, but that part could easily be explained as an incident in between.
Pike originally had black hair, it turned white later. She looked different because at the time they saved Grog she was much younger (even during the campain when she was in her early 40's she was still considered a very young adult, when she saved Grog they both were considered juveniles for their races still). Pike knew that Grog had saved her (many) great grandpa, just not that it was from his old herd or the exact reasons. And actually Wilhelm is actually like her great, great, great, great grandfather (in the campain he was 400+ years old) but often just referred to each other as grandfather/granddaughter to limit confusion, especially since they were both estranged from the rest of their family.
@@TheMrBonzz They are VERY specific through the entire episode that it's her GREAT Grandpa and and she calls him Pops every single time except that one specific time when she has dark hair and calls him grandfather.
@@hammerhiem75 just read the Vox Machina Origin comics, that's the earlier story before they started streaming their game, Pike was black haired there.
