the fact that it gives a warning that if you have the fear of forgetting, or if you’re in a bad mental state you shouldn’t go through the experience, just makes me have hope in life and I don’t know why.

Forgetting the people I care about is probably one of my deepest fears. I lost my mom a few years ago, and I still occasionally look over pictures of her or listen to recordings of her voice just to be sure that I won't forget anything about her. The idea that one day I could just lose that? I'd genuinely rather die at my own hands than experience dementia.

Wait. Hold up. So to get from stage 6 back to stage 5, all you have to do is jump off a cliff? I don't know if this world fully encompasses what the feeling of Everywhere At The End Of Time truly is. A few deleted walls and scratched up pictures doesn't hold a candle to the intensity of thought distortion that the later stages of the album evoke. The world needs to be dynamic, shifting. Your place in the world is lost as you unexpectedly end up in new, unfamiliar places. Except these are actually places you've been to before, but can't recognize. The moments of lucidity and tranquility need a way to fit in, serving as a place to rest, as well as to give some contrast between the overwhelming confusion and the fleeting memories.

the entire thing could have been better imo the walls just going static didn't really made me get into it How I imagined it to be would have been instead of a single room per part/album it could have been a long hallway that loops back to the beginning at the end, a single loop being a single song with paintings/photos lining up the walls that changes at every loop/song (minor details at the painting being added/removed/moved at early stages while distortion starts at later stages)

i don’t know why but seeing stage 5 and 6 made me so sad for some reason

Was half-expecting the underside of stage 6 to be a trick and if you jumped you'd just keep falling into the static.

I wonder if someone has ever waited in the last stage for the angelic tune that comes in at the last 6 minutes, meant to represent terminal lucidity. Where for a brief moment before death, a person seems to be perfectly fine. All motor functions and memories are present and they recognize loved ones. I imagine it would be the room slowly transforming into something like the stage 2 room then suddenly it all goes dark.

I think it would’ve been cooler if as each stage goes on the room changes, but by stage 4 the room should look completely incoherent, like that photo that no one can identify an object in. That’s the vibe post stage 3 gives off. In this, pretty much the only major change is the static introduced in and after after stage 2. I did like the void at stage 6 though.

I really can't stress this enough but... Just the video of the objects falling, no music, just falling objects, is enough to make me laugh

I already have some memory loss like when somebody tells me something right in my ear but I don't remember anything and my brain try to peice together what they said and if I can't then I ask them over and over to repeat until I know what it is This is something i had since childhood and it's not very common for me but i don't know if it can get worse or better and dementia is something scary for me that's why i have been researching it for some time

Stage 6 is when you forget everything, nothing is recognizable, death is coming.

Dementia is sort of an umbrella term for different diseases and conditions, so all people with Alzheimer's have dementia, but not all demented people have Alzheimer's. It's a fascinating (and terrifying) thing to learn about.
