gavin lam it was fairly easy. Cleaned all surfaces and then used clean oil to lube those surfaces. Just took a few taps with the hammer and popped right in.
I dont know what gap you are referring to. The seal goes in flush. By definition a seal has no gap. If there is a gap then it is not sealed and leaks. I may not understand your question.
