@@Solus749 It's not always "negative" but instead "double edged". Also the active bf/gf parasocialism (e.g. Vox, Rushia) is much more double edged and risky than the less overtly sexual parasocialism variant (e.g. Kiara). Just because only the extremes are highlighted shouldn't ignore that parasocialism exists to a certain extent with every vtuber and not judge the whole concept by the newsworthy ones which go critical.

@@rowanmales3430 parasocial CAN be inpirational, the second whoever you are parasocial to changes from interesting person ( as in streamer ) to potential friend/gf/bf in your mind step away IMMEDIATLY. Kiaras chat is a prime example of this with how agressive they are. Kronii and kiara faced this HARD when not insignificant parts of their chats voice doubt against them collabing with males. Cover themselves had to step in to cool that off. The ENTIRETY of Kiaras chat need a 2-3 week period to cool off. Vox, rushia, hana machia just to mention a few of the hearts all had this happen to them in one form of the other. Basicly put the agency themselves might need to tell hearts to fence off or shit is going to happen.

o7 for Sana. I knew little about her since the day she debut till ... that day. But when i she her with others, those moments are wholesome, fun yet hard to forget.

Thats what made a lot sad to see her leave. She didnt get as popular as the others in terms of numbers. But she still made time for her gen mates despite her busy schedule and her list of health and emotional issues.

No wonder I feel sad anytime she's brought up its like the heart was ripped out of council sadly and i barely watcher her videos due to the sheer length of them but her charm didn't take much to win me over at the time and the only one who COULD fill the heart role now is Bae ngl

Kiaras chat is outright hostile to criticism or kiaras ideas at times being less good, rushia's well we know where that went don't we and Vox......oooh vox incindents and his 40 minute stream where he told parasocial aspects of his chat to take a hike. This have at times gotten so bad that I am of the opinion that the heart role needs to be fenced off because when the heart community explode ....dear god it explode. Edit look up hana machia from niji id as well, well fused with main branch now for economic reasons but still... She used to have 4 rules for chat....now she have 16 and atleast 2/3 of them are anti parasocial or don't trauma dump. Hana if it wasn't obvious was a heart as well. The only 3-4 safe hearts I can think if right now is millie, rosemi from nijisanji and watame and nene from holo. The rest are timed bombs....yes even ollie

@@Solus749 I really wouldn't list Rushia as a heart of a group. Parasocial as fuck, sure, but she lacks social skills that would make her generally beloved by a lot of people. When Rushia basically cratered, her fans did not ask why, they gave up on her immediately which is not something you'd see if they were a heart of a group. They'd atleast ask why. From her work relationship side with ehr gen, look no further than her termination. Noel and Flare when they were talking about her termination seemed over it and ready to move on. The general coldness we saw from Hololive JP, in my opinion, really made me realize that she wasn't loved much from her coworkers. Obviously I can't speak for hololive, that's just what it looked like to me. If I had to say who is the heart of gen 3, it'd either be Pekora or Senchou.I feel like Pekora would be the heart.

I mean even Kiara’s genmates said that she was their Sun. So she really does play a massive role in their lives even if Kiara herself is not aware of. Like with Calli, recently she was feeling down and thinking about stopping her rapping but Kiara was there to tell her that it’s ok the way she is and it’s a part of what makes Calli herself and if she wants to change her music to Rock/Rap genre then Kiara will support her all the way. Calli said in stream that she was super grateful she was there for her.

Not gonna lie, the group would probably fall apart without kiara just like how it would without either of the 5. Ame is the quiet background leader controlling things behind the scene, gura is the shy ultra famous poster child, ina is the chill funny girl who mostly reacts rather than stepping up. Then there's calli the talented but sometimes awkward girl. Kiara being the talkative and more open than others made them way more relaxed and liven up the atmosphere and conversation, i feel like the group will be way more silent without kiara around.

Agree that why she's the MC. Much like Seok Jin of running man fame. She defends and deflects awkwardness and keeps conversation moving. Better at conversationalist and bringing everyone together

We can't miss. The English market is largely untested, so at worst, the EN branch shouldn't be a complete flop. And then Hololive EN 1st gen, a bunch of dorks, conquers the english speaking market.

She doesn’t actually “stalk” but her following some KFP artists means she sees their likes and such show up on twitter so she randomly sees what some fans are up to lol. Definitely shows how close she is with her community especially since she’s super active on twitter

No no ,not almost. But actually stalk her fan twitter(not stalking in physical sense). She mentioned it a few times in the past. like " Do you guy know that I stalk you guy right?" She speak something like this. I can't remember which stream . that came up a few times back in the day. But I think she's not do it any more. Since she is more busy and the fan base is getting larger.

I think pretty much all of Myth is happier now than before Myth. Perhaps Calli being the exception since she's basically suffering from too much success. She's winning so much she wants to stop winning.

Kiara once mentioned back when she is an idol she had to perform on stages with literally zero audience. But the music plays and the show still goes on. How soul crushing is that. More so, she used a once in a lifetime visa to jumpstart her idol career only to be denied by covid. Depressed, she cooped up in her room and discovered vtubers, which led to her auditioning for hololive.

You absolutely right, she is so vocal that sometimes she takes over the whole conversation that people find it annoying but without her being talkative the collab will be dead silence with awkwardness.

@@latinalover26 oh, don't get me wrong. I said it pretty seriously, but believe, I'm nowhere near a Unicorn. I literally just felt the feeling for the first time of kinda having "something special". Obviously know it's not real and know boundaries. Just how the feeling felt for like a stream was pretty scary, so I wanted to share how fucking easy is to get in those feelings. I go out quite a lot too, yet the feeling of having someone be there that I got from the streams was quite the experience. It's more of a warning to anyone that feels that can fall to this kind of feeling and a reminder to myself if I ever get too much into something like that. Thanks for the concern tho.

I still don’t get why people especially westerners hate concept of Parasocial so much. For me it’s a good thing absolutely good thing. Parasocial mean you care for them you see them as a friend (or lover). I know people love to bringing up VOX situation. But is the problem is really because PARASOCIAL? not “Toxic relationship”. Is it really ok if those female incel do the same thing to their IRL boyfriends? No it still wrong. And Personally I think they would never do that to their real boyfriend if they ever has one. The reason they act like that is because of they never really see him as a friend of boyfriend he’s just a boy toy for them. Same a Coco and Haachama situation why did the Chinese attack ? Just because you give them money or you having feelings for them doesn't mean you can tell them who they can collab with. A bad parasocial is when gura is finally back and her members or people waiting for her to return doesn't give you a right to demand an explanation on why she didn't stream for a long time

I can't tell for sure, but I think it's because Marine may play the lewd trope here and there but she does it in a wholesome, funny, honest, intelligent way that includes the ability to laugh about herself. She does it for entertainment, not for sheer content. I think that greatly seperates her from some average lewd VTuber who would just act like a dumb bimbo that wiggles her boobas.

I think her role in a group could be like "the joker" role as in the funny man but also being very versatile and talented and such.

I think Axel and Hakka are more fitting as the Heart role for StarsEN, doesn't help that they're the ones that spearheads any group song projects. (Axel with Bad End Night for example)

I feel like coco is basically all of it for gen 4. She's their leader, their heart and their mascot. It's different from like the myth where ame is the leader, kiara is the heart and gura is the mascot.

I'm just saying that coco was their leader before her departure. still, i dunno if towa is a leader for gen 4 tho considering gen 4 never really did anything together after coco's graduation. towa might be a leader for other stuff like apex but that doesn't involve specifically the 4th gen only.

@@latinalover26 Dragon is for the badguy team. Lancer is the functional equilavent in a heroic five man band. I think Calli fits the best as the Though Guy as a dependable and reliable person to look for support. If I had to fit Ina and Gura to the other two slots I guess I would go with Lancer for Gura (the Lancer is frequently the most popular and the Leader's foil. And while I can not confidently say Gura works as a foil for Ame their dynamic is good enough that they are a pretty common ship in EN) and Smart Guy for Ina.

It’s very much so possible.

Well Gen 0 isn't exactly a coherent group like other gens. They mostly have bilateral personal connections which one can use to connect the entire gen together but there are still members that don't have much interaction with each other (Suisei-Roboco or AZKi-Roboco or AZKi-Miko) (Not to say these members never interacted with each other outside of stuff with all of Gen 0, no they did have some solo interactions, just not that many). With there not being much Gen 0 events I am not sure if Gen 0 has a leader. If we do look for a leader and heart for Gen 0 it definitly isn't Suisei or AZKi. AZKi didn't interact much with Hololive members other than Sora (and to a lesser extend Watame) until relatively recently with her transitioning more towards regular streaming and INNK closing. Suisei is very extroverted and charismatic so could be heart or leader material but (with the exception of Miko) she tends to interact with people other than Gen 0 (plus too focused on advancing her own musical and radio career to take up leadership of Gen 0). Roboco I admit I don't watch much but she also seems to interact mostly outside Gen 0 (Choco seems like her most common collab partner?) So Miko and Sora certainly are the best candidates for the heart and leader roles. I am not sure which of them would fit which role better (or if indeed, Miko does fit both of them better). But I would hazard a guess that one of them is the leader while other is the heart.

Honestly, since I'm not familiar with the group dynamics of all the Gens (i mean i do, but in a superficial way), I can't accurately pinpoint who. Batman was the leader of the group and the brains of the operation, but Flash was always the heart, brought everyone together, brought an element of groundedness, and was ironically one of, if not THE most powerful member of the whole group.

She does do choreo practice for all her songs and performances though. She has a friend that makes choreos for her songs so she is putting in the work to learn them. At least for dancing I’d say she’s fine as I thought she was still one of the best dancers in the last hololive concert (and I hope we see more cool dances during the EN concert coming up). Also I hope you become comfortable enough to chat in her streams or in the comments. I don’t think KFP really bites too much from my experience but I get that the positivity can be intimidating at times. I think she still sees critique just like anyone else so I wouldn’t be afraid to leave some well intentioned advice every once in a while

I belive that be vtuber (at last at first), not was their first laboral option but a desesperate move to get a job, Subaru and Mori Calliope tell us they took the chance when the day by day was really dark. why someone shy want a parasocial work... Because they need put food in the table ASAP
