Vulfpack 1612 Reaction 

I've been a big Vulf fan for 5+ years now. They're great. For all y'all who haven't heard them before, your new god is Joe Dart on the Fender Bass. The singer you saw here is Antwaun Stanley - he's not Vulfpeck's regular vocalist (in fact, the majority of their tracks are funk instrumentals), but he's done several great tracks with them including this one, "Funky Duck", and "Aunt Leslie".

1.5 seconds into the song the Renaissance Man's smile begins and doesn't end until the end.

This was a nice surprise!. I’ve never heard of them...but I have now! That was a nice solid groove; lots of funk, and good feels! 👍

I've heard 1612 before and they are totally off the scale.. I'm an old Soul/Funk DJ and these guys have the groove I love to chill out to.. You should look at some Tower of Power tracks.. "What is Hip" or "Diggin on James Brown" .. Or some Quantic Soul Orchestra with Spanky Wilson.. Or for a true female soul voice Dusty Springfield, who when the Motown revue came to the UK in 1965 was Berry Gordy's only choice to host the show, and the only white singer on the show. He asked her to duet with Diana Ross and she refused as she wanted to sing with her friend Martha Reeves..

I missed that you did this one. I'd recommended them a few times. Check out some of their other stuff. They are seriously funky. BTW, that wasn't as shortened version, they tend to do fairly short and sweet tunes.

These guys are new to me, but everything I've heard so far has been fantastic. Great band, and the singer has a 60s Motown / soul vocal style, which we have a shortage of these days.

Great song, but you need at least one more to round out their sound. It Gets Funkier IV or Dean Town tear holes in the funkosphere everytime they're played.
