E-man did it take long to get the frame rail section, I need one for my bondo condo ; on the drivers side same area. What a great time for a happy dance , victory is yours my friend. I know i'm worry sick about this repair on my bus.
Well... this part was an order I made through a company called Aircooled Treasury... before CIP-1 carried auto craft. Dont like to talk bad... they were having a hard time with warehousing parts and it took 18 months to receive the order.. dont think it will take that long to recieve from cip1. Thanks dan

What a great update, and what a great milestone. It was 5am here when I got the notification about your vid and I had to get up and watch it! Can see why you put it off for so long, but I can imagine how it must feel to have done it, and done it so well. Goes to show how far your skills have come too. You're braver than me for butt welding rather than lapping. I wouldn't trust myself. Looks like a done a super clean and professional job. Eman deluxe nice job on the frame rails two FYI‘s one hydraulic jacks don’t bleed off because the SAG see if you can get to a junkyard for a mechanical scissor jacks and all the little small cars minivans are also notorious for them or the camper leveling jacks is a little aluminum ones with the bar turns around you could use those number two I can’t take credit for this iron trap garage showed Lenix sawblades came out with a foreign a half inch blade that goes on the right angle grinder carbide tips Lowes have some for $11-$13 like a hot knife and butter I’ve used one it’s great take care keep up the good work Junkmando
Just found your channel. Nice work on the frame! Years ago I junked a '67 bus due to bad frame rust - there wasn't much available as far as replacement panels back then. Now there are several companies making good parts. Thank you for the video👍

Hey man, do you have fb where I can contact you? Im on a major issue with my bus and no one has ever posted what I need to do to my bus, whole rear chassis section is missing, from 2" infront of the torsion tube all the way back. Im having doubts about just welding as you did or did you made a reinforcement for the weld?
@@vwbusguy that's great to know. The drivers side still need a good about of work but the passenger side was worse... I was told recently that the passenger side of vehicles is normally worse here in the salt side of the country.. because the snow plows clean the road better on the drivers side.. then obviously the pass side has more salt... it's also true with a truck I recently had to scrap because of such bad rot✌
