Hello, can you tell me, did you reseal the manifold with some paste or anything? or can you just put the old one on like that? Specifically my situation, i've had 2 injectors changed but now a third one is defect, and i would like to change it myself so i just wanna know if i need to seal it again og can i just put it on. Also don't you need special tool to pull out the injector?
I get it seems an intimidating job to do but it only took me a couple of hours with only a limited amount of knowledge on it all! So i would say give it a go
This is a Magneti-Marel injector. Six nozzles at an angle. They are washed very well, then tested on a stand at 40-120 bar. I don’t recommend aggressive chemicals for them, because... take out the bracket, the nozzle is disassembled, there is a damper with an elastic band, and under it there is a flat mesh.
Hi there. I have 1.4 tsi 122ps. İt misafire only idle on both cold and hot engine. Only idle p0304. Running has no issue. Whats was your issue? And did you have any fail code? I would be glad if you answer.
@@Heijmen0481 try to swap, inyector, coil and spark with cilinder n1... If problem is still in number 3, check the wires, if everything looks ok, problem is in valves or piston... In my case was the piston (very comon in this engine)
Hey how did you know it was the fuel injector that needed replacing? Did you have a misfire on the engine before? (i got a slight misfire on the car and wondering if its a fuel injector that needs replacing. I've already replaced spark plugs and coil packs)
I brought them second hand of a car with 60k miles so don’t have a link. Take them off and find a part no. if your worried. It’s a caxa 122 1.4 tsi engine
@@lammindrives2763 How did you diagnose your problem? Because mines only stutter for about 15 seconds on start up every morning and then goes dead quiet afterwards. When I look at live data, I see cylinder 2 misfiring intermittently.
