+Build it fix it use it! thanks Adam with it having a high roof it just needed something to fill the gap of a big roof Best Regards Dave, Jo and Louie 👍😀🐾
Does the van have barn doors ? If so have you fitted a rear monitor screen? Sorry buddy just watched the one video. I'll check out the rest in case it's a dumb question. Cheers
WOW.. That has changed the look of her.. I LOVE IT.. You will have to lower your seat now to see under it..? ha.. I been looking at them for ages but my pension wont stretch that far.. Dribble Dribble..? It will give the kids some thing to hold on to then they clime up to nick your spot lights...? Well done matey..? best up grade ever..? us 3 in then middle... Ho Brett would have done it in 10 minutes
+Wondering Womble LOL thanks Kev It only covers about an inch of the windscreen so not a problem at all For kids to have fun on it I’ve wired the van through a number Transformers big capacitors and bridge rectifiers to create electronic Force field around the full van it works well if you can put up with the screaming and smell Burning 😀 Spend some of those millions youve got stuck under your mattress 👍 Best Regards mate hope you are well 👍 us 3 up North 👍😀🐾
Hi Dave had I of known you was fitting the sun visor I could of given you two brackets that would of just gone under your door post and you just clamp them in place with no need to drill any holes . But all in all it looks very well ,
That looks awesome dave 😉👌👍 where do your wires run from the interior light and the aerial cable 🤔 I cant remember if they run through them pillars or under the plastic trim of the pillar on VWs ( regarding screws might rub through them mate ) 😉👍👍👍
+Mark Collom #Iveavan Hi Mark Yes they do but I’ve moved them back out the way with a cover over them and used some smaller screws too 👍 Best Regards Dave, Jo and Louie 👍😀🐾
Now then, you could have used a cheaper version of the sun shade. Ie. Stick on sun visor with ' Dave Jo louie ' retro seventies type. Or those clip on sun shades that you put on glasses ( but a bigger pair to fit the van ) . You could flip them down when sunny lol. 😂 love to Jo and Louie xx
Excellent, a bit more work to fit than those stick on sun strips we used to have in the 80's with our names on. When are you fitting that heated towel rail in the van?
+ttxela LOL now that’s an idea I need to add Dave Loves Louie across it next 😀 Hope you got tha electric bike sorted 😀 Best regards Dave, Jo and Louie 👍😀🐾
Great video Dave. The big bus is looking great. Can I ask where did you get your black bull bar from and is it Matt or gloss finish. Looking at some in black for my T5.
+Paul Smart Hi Paul it a Chrome one that’s being painted metallic black You can get them in powder coated black or Crome they are easy to fit The one on my van was on it wen I get it but it was slightly bent on it bracket and scratched so I took it off and strained it and painted it before refitting it 👍 Best Regards Dave, Jo and Louie 👍😀🐾
Cool Dave, I have the bonnet protector, but have had to remove it at the moment due to the snow. I plan on adding the sun visor too, but prefer the smoked version over the solid black, I have found a company in Finland that sell it, but its €450 euros, so managed to find one from a UK seller for €270 plus €65 shipping. Thanks for the video on fitting the visor, what was putting me off is having to drill holes, but some of these visors fit with Sikaflex? I'm still watching your video, so will report back once viewed :) Talking of removing the chrome parts, I want to do the same, but hesitant to do so, my Crafter is the 2011 model which was the updated model, and came with chrome mirrors, grill, door handlers, and rear number plate strip, all chrome, and is kind of opposite to the stealth look I want. Need to look into changing these chrome parts I guess, but I have to say. I love the black VW badges, and yes, I remember the 80's and The Beauty Boys fans nicking VW badges all across the UK back in the day. Getting back to the bonnet protector, this is a doddle to fit, but as said, I had to remove mine, as when brushing off the snow, it was under risk of damage. My rear flares, and narrow windows arrive this week, so will be getting these fitted in the spring, but need to find a body shop to colour code them for me, and to spray my bonnet, as currently my van has a matt black bonnet, its new due to previous owner replacing it because of a dent. Just noted when your cups of tea arrived, your door mirror are folded inwards, are they OEM mirrors or aftermarket? Mine are ridged, and don't move.
+Michael Aldridge Hi Michael I didn’t think about the snow ⛄️ I must remember that if we get any Both parts cost a total of £150 If you do drill to fit remember to check the wires in the pillars ! With my van being the black addition I I think it comes with a few extra bits including the movable mirrors With it having the highest roof it just needed something to fill the big gat It looked like it had a very large forehead and with those lights on it looked like it had spots 😀 It looks a lot better with the sun visor on and it does not take up any of your windscreen Best of Luck with your mate 👍 Lights on the side of the roof rack next to light up camp 👍 Best Regards Dave, Jo and Louie 👍😀🐾
@@onemanandhiswhippet Here's My Crafter Dave. www.flickr.com/photos/gsi-r/43945278730/in/album-72157667169424937/ Where did you buy your black VW badges from? Looked on ebay, and only found one, and its from Turkey, and the seller has bad feedback.
@@onemanandhiswhippet Ah, ok Dave, missed that. Yes, mine is the LWB too, the plan was to have a double bed in the rear, East to West, but since my wife informs me she's not interested in travelling Europe and beyond with me, the bedroom has been redesigned, and will just have my single bed now, being almost 6ft, the flares shall come in handy.
Thanks for that link to the badge, unfortunately, the seller doesn't ship outside of UK, and doesn't accept any questions either, tried sending a message, but it came up with> "Unfortunately, this seller isn't able to respond to your question."
+GKUK Dash Cam VW Cali LOL Hi Glen No problem how about next Tuesday (if it’s not raining) 👍 we can also make you a bit taller too 😀 Best regards us 3 👍😀🐾
Hi Dave, not had much luck with that ebay seller you referred me to with regards buying a black VW badge for my Crafter, so will remove mine, etch the chrome, and spray myself, which leads me to the question, how does the front badge come off ?
Hi Michael there lots of sellers out the on eBay the rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F173732723218 Anyway they are just clipped in using a flat bladed screwdriver and if you go round the edges of it you can undo the clip and it just pulls out there are videos on YT that should how to remove a VW badge 👍 Best regards Louie and his two poo pickers 👍❤️😀🐾🍺🍟
