That’s a great little aerial, I wouldn’t of fancied fitting an f type on that thin coax either. Fingers crossed there will be a T5 on my drive soon and then I can escape too. Louie is still the star of the videos

Fitted one to our swb crafter about 5 years ago works great very rare we cant get a signal .

G’day Dave and Louie that was a great fix for the aerial that van is really decked out well and you have put a lot of thought into Dave and it’s paid off. Great to see you heading down to Gothland we spent a lot of time around there and the Moore’s last time we were over absolutely beautiful countries side, I couldn’t thing of any thing better than camping around that area. Those ariels are amazing Dave. Weve taken an ariel like that, all over the continent. We even got tv programs in the north cape ( norwegian tv that is 😂). And that place is miles from anywhere. Gave my gps a go, over the weekend. Works great, thats if you can see the road ahead due to its size lol. Love to Jo and Louie ❤

I've got an August DTA240 (looks the same as yours) which we use on our T5 and it works perfectly. I pick up more channels in our van than we do in the house. Great video 😎👍🏻

"Film on Live TV" via a app on my tablet I use, if I'm out of the country or somewhere like the lakes where TV signal is pants bud, thanks to you, I don't think I'd be fitting that old type of aerial you have (same as the one I've got) and go for that omi one you've just fitted. Cheers matey 😉👌👍👍👍

Hi, I have one of these on my camper and did the same as you and took it off the magnetic base as my van roof is fibre glass. But I think the magnetic base needs the van body to act as a ground plain... I have the angle bracket bolted to my solar panel, trying to use that as a ground. It does work in most areas but anywhere slightly remote, no signal.. Best option for us now is a firestick using my phone as wi-fi hotspot, works great most places in uk..👍 Cheers Best regards Dave

Superb Dave, another great video, glad to see Louie is back on his feet. Thanks for the link to the antenna, I will give that a try too. On a different subject, seeing as you sleep widthways in your Crafter, and me thinking I was 5ft 10", I purchased a pair of sleeping pods, but I'm not overly happy with the quality, so decided to measure my height, I've shrunk, I'm only 68" tall, which is 5ft 6", so this brings me to the question, how tall are you Dave, and do you have enough room sleeping widthways?

I'm liking that little aerial, I got a secondhand one like your old one very cheap as a campervan place was upgrading their fleet, so had quite a few to sell, but think I'll get the smaller one (sold out on your link!!) 😜 I'll be interested to see how it goes being out in the weather all the time, but I guess its cheap enough to be disposable if it only lasts a year or so. Is your booster hard wired into the 12V or does it have a cigarette type plug to go in a 12V socket? Trying to find a replacement for mine...
